    So there is possible conflict with other sports which the athlete has chosen to pursue in the football off season. Still not sure how this contributes to a coaching shortage.

    I honestly don't remember. I do know that there is no travel basketball for girls during June in Indiana, I don't know much about boys travel sports. I'm just having an issue seeing how travel sports impacts a coaching shortage. This doesn't make sense.

    This is the norm for the vast majority of participants, families and programs. I too have heard horror stories about travel, but they haven't come from anyone I've met or seen personally, so I just consider them as what they are, stories by those with an anti-travel agenda.

    He's no spring chicken either, but at least he has IU ties. We'll see what happens. If he can get the team back on track, that's the important thing.

    Don't see large numbers of under trained and overworked kids from excessive travel ball participation.

    Do students work/sweat/sacrifice less or more based on the facility? Tell that to the boys from HIckory High.

    That's true. And it's true for every high school gym in Indiana.

    It's not moving the goalposts at all. This is a thread on an Indiana High School Football Forum about Turf fields on Indiana High School football fields. You think Indiana students over 16 should be vaccinated instead of schools putting in Turf football fields. I believe YOU are the one dodging, deflecting and diving by bringing other states into the discussion. Is that a picture of you heading back to your playground?

    Don't believe everything you read on the internet. Healthcare workers under the age of 18 are being denied the vaccine. Understandable. He's also a fan of a gym that has poor visibility from every seat on the upper level.
