  2. Not according to the Browns. He's not going anywhere. https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2022/03/baker-mayfield-has-ask-the-browns-to-trade-him-and-they-tell-his-agents-they-will-not-accommodate-his-request.html
  3. I'm not sure the NCAA is smart enough. First round games in the East bracket are being played in Portland, Oregon.
  4. Could be a happy ending for everyone involved. That means Garopollo is still available for the Colts. I think he's their best bet at this point.
  5. Thanks for sharing. Now all the hearsay, conjecture and rumors can be put to rest. Good Luck to Coach Shattuck, I've heard from some friends in Seymour he's a good guy.
  6. Would love to see this guy in a Colts uniform. https://www.si.com/nfl/colts/draft/draft-interviews-sterling-weatherford
  7. Much ado about nothing. What percentage of College students does this actually affect, less than 1%? Colleges reward academic excellence, why not do the same with athletics?
  8. I don't hate Wentz. Colts management felt he didn't get the job done in Indy. I agree. He's no longer a Colt, time to move on.
  9. It was a financial move for the Cowboys, they have some serious salary cap issues. They were shopping him to the Commanders, but they don't have anyone who could throw to him either.
  10. This cropped up in my Facebook memories from 7 years ago. History, in fact, does repeat itself. See Carson Wentz. One of the comments on the Colts page regarding the waiving of Trent Richardson: " Gonna take a long time for him to get out of town 2 yards at a time. "
  11. Elderberry. And yes, you were comparing Wentz and Rodgers in relation to Love.
  12. It wasn't all rainbows and butterflies. https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/carson-wentz-personality-issues-led-colts-commanders-trade-report?cid=sm_npd_rsn_phi_fb_mn&fbclid=IwAR27DX26aKKpDyzcCl__V9eO8G7jHwRkZ9VfeTdBDDimZRtbVpXIoeuQn8A
  13. Comparing Rodgers and Wentz is laughable.
  14. Fitzpatrick is who I meant. I made a typo in my original post. Apologies.
  15. Ha, I've succeeded at every occupation//job I attempted. It must be emotionally devastating to fail. Perhaps those who care can send thoughts and prayers your way. I don't believe he's available. He's costing the Packers very little as the lowest paid backup in the NFL. Love or Garopollo are the 2 youngsters I think the Colts should look to obtain. If that fails, I agree with @Muda69 on Fitzpatrick as a short term solution. This is one position the Colts have historically come out smelling like a rose on. Some very good tight ends.
  16. I thought teams won games? You've got more flip-flops than the Orlando airport gift shop. It all makes sense now. Coaches who can't decide how games are won can never cut it on the sideline.
  17. LOL, QB stats don't win football games either. Nor does religion, but feel free to start a thread in the OOB if you'd like to discuss Christianity.😜 Sticking to football-I've never seen a game where one's religious beliefs made a difference in the final score.
  18. He didn't get the job done when it needed to be done. I'm far from clueless. Personal beliefs don't win football games. Execution does.
  19. Reich got his choice instead, and we see how that turned out.
  20. Next year will be 7 for Leeper, same with Downey. Same with Antwon Jones at SB Adams.
  21. He sounds confident he'll be back for his 5th year with the Colts. After seeing this, management may think he wants to go with Wentz.
  22. They haven't been announced. When they are, I'll post the link.
  23. And this is why the GID wants citation, not rumors. Here's what we know so far: https://wsbt.com/sports/friday-night-football-fever/josh-shattuck-steps-down-at-elkhart He stepped down.
