  1. Which is wild considering the lack of postseason success at GS aside from like a handful of seasons 😉 #RegularSeasonWarriors
  2. It is definitely a year-to-year basis. 2020 and 2021 PAC knocks the socks off the SIAC with a combination of Brady Allen and Devin Mockabee. Goebel/Hurley vs Buening/Hart would be an unbelievable coaching matchup. Old School vs New School powerhouses.
  3. Did those two get ejected or was it just a standard Unsportsmanlike for both teams? Typically a punch thrown = Ejection
  4. Wasnt at the game, but what happened with the scuffle between 35 and 8? Seemed like 35 grabbed onto him and wouldnt let go. What led up to that?
  5. Great video of the game last night. Congrats to the Tigers!
  6. It will not be on IHSAAtv, but you can listen online. wbdc.us https://radio.securenetsystems.net/cwa/index.cfm?stationCallSign=WBDC
  7. Huntingburg is expecting SNOW tomorrow! most sources saying an inch or less, but regardless, Dress warm, folks!
  8. When Southridge won state in 2017, Southport HS opened their facilities to us on Saturday morning so the players could get a lift in the morning of the State Championship game. (Which Southridge went on to win) This is not uncommon for Southridge as they have done similar workouts each time they have been to state.
  9. Dont listen to them, Stink. Ron's place does have good pizza, but that place is disgusting on every other aspect. (maybe the STC would fit right in!) The best bars in Huntingburg are most definitely Yard Goat and The Gaslight. both about a block apart from eachother on 4th street. Yard Goat is more craft/Artisan beer (microbrewery) and Gaslight is a good pizza/sports bar with a bunch of TV's and big screen projectors. If you are in town on Friday, i recommend you hit them both up. And if you are looking for a Hotel to stay at for the night, stay on the south side of Jasper. Not huntingburg. only about 4-5 minute further drive than the only motel in huntingburg.
  10. Who is Lawrenceburg's studs this year? I dont see a "Garrett Yoon" in the lineup for the first time in what seems like forever. The way it sounds is this will be a completely different Lawrenceburg team with not much of a passing attack as opposed to years past.
  11. Stink... Stink... 1... 2... Where the **** are you?!?!?!?! Where is the Stink Town Clown this year? There is not much more I look forward to than myself and my team being belittled by a fictional, alcoholic clown on a High School Football Forum.
  12. Southridge took the regular season bout 35-7 at home. Everyone knows that you get an entirely different animal when you play at the Jungle. I expect this to be a 1 score game and come down to the wire. Southridge (65.09) is a 3-point favorite vs. Heritage Hills (60.27) and has about a 55.90% chance of winning (1.73-point home-field advantage). Who ya got?!
  13. I think he is saying they wouldn't have a chance at beating Gibson if they were to meet in the sectional championship.
  14. GS 35-14. Nicot Burnett keeps it close in the first half, but GS pulls away in the second.
  15. Actually it is the opposite. They are making a big push to bring back grass fields in the NFL because of Sterling Shepard and Odell Beckam Jr both having non-contact injuries on turf fields.
  16. Yes sir. Lucas Messmer was a 2012 Southridge grad. he did some coaching in the B-Town area during college, came back to Southridge to learn under Murphy and Buening for a few years (While also teaching at Wood Memorial), and got his shot for MV a couple years ago! Give him a few years, but his name will be high up on that list soon.
  17. Southridge's coach Scott Buening has a way of getting the absolute best out of his players every single year. Never really has any guys who are Next Level players, but just has a bunch of dudes who want to win. This game should be good, but the underappreciated aspect of this game is the coaching. In my "biased" opinion, these are the top 2 coaches in southern indiana.
  18. It has been SEVERAL months since I have logged on and I have been trying to play catchup on all of the other threads. Now, This (on paper) should be a dogfight... but, Gibson Southern is a different animal compared to every team Southridge has played this year. Southridge D is TOUGH. giving up only one TD through the first 4 games, and that was during garbage time in the Washington game.
  19. Since my posts got deleted for some reason in a 3A forum asking about a 3A team, Can someone please link the forum of how Chatard got alligned back in 3A so i can at least read on it? Maybe there were some responses that were off topic that i did not see, but i would like it if my posts did not get removed that are related to the topic.
  20. Jasper QB Grant Young could miss significant time (6-8 weeks) They are starting a Freshman at QB tonight (Max Bueltel). All things considered, Give me Jasper by a touchdown tonight.
  21. Got to 50 straight yesterday with a first inning homerun (8 on the year)! Started the year not even in the top 100 MiLB prospects and has flew up to #40 in recent weeks.
  22. Luke coached (and played) at Southridge. He knows what it takes to run a successful program. also, the weightlifting class was for the spring semester only. There is a more serious 6:00am program throughout the summer. Don't forget, 5 years ago, Mt Vernon was an 0-10 team. Last year they went 8-2
