The CIC ( not Eastbrook) took the front seat on the struggle bus this past Friday 5 losses 2 cancellations 3 loss to lower class teams ( 1A, 2A) 2 shutouts (Frankton was close and Alex with 2 late 4th quarter feel good TD's) Just hope it knocked the Rust off of them and we can get back to the Winning Ways

I think most of us are in the Wait and See phase. Frankton looked decent in scrimmage Saturday against Yorktown. Should be better then last year. if they stay healthy I can see them in the 3-5 place in the conference. Travel to Tri Central this Friday I think this will be a solid game for the Eagles to see what they have. Good luck to everyone and stay healthy.

Frankton-Lapel Schools getting Turf. Lapel will be playing on the Turf in 2020. they are about done. Frankton will be moving there field back to the HS and building a new complex. Turf, Locker rooms, concessions, RR and Ticket booth all in one building. Schedule to play on it in 2021. Moving dirt now.

Got to believe the 3 top teams in the CIC this year are Mississinewa, Blackford and Alexandria. A little surprised the Indians and Tigers took a loss this week. Frankton has my vote for tops in the 4-7 spot. They find a way to win. Could be 3-0 with a tough loss to Lapel last Saturday. But again any given night. Elwood will struggle again. Hope to see improvement in them Good luck to all and lets have a competitive season.

Tim Miller at Lapel. Been there 7 years, constant improvement. Last 3 years has had solid teams. 2016 lost in Sectional championship to eventual state champions Ritter. 2017 lost to Eastbrook in the Regional. 2018 lost to Eastbrook ( State Run Up ) in Regional. Seems to be doing things right.

Oak Hill - Elwood is a few years away OH by 21 Blackford - This could be close. 2 ground and pound teams that eat up the clock. If Frankton can limit mistakes and score in the red zone we could have a game. Blackford by 7 Alex- MG's needs to keep the Tiger O off the field. It worked for Frankton in the first half.
