Hoosier Hills Conference

The owner of the Culver’s in Corydon who also built the one in Jeffersonville but sold that lives in Floyd Central Schools bounds, his kids went there. So no, but as close as they can get otherwise 🤣 -

HH only loss was to a 3Peat private school outta Louisville. I saw this, this morning and thought about this thread. HH absolutely beat the brakes off their Indiana opponents this year. Jett will be the front runner for next years Mr. Football. Yall thought because he wasn’t on the big recruiting boards like some of the FW opponents players were that it was gonna be a dog walk. It was too, for the Patriots. North 3a was not up to par with Sectional 32. I’d take Memorial and Gibson Southern to both beat Luers, heck maybe even Southridge in a close one. Congrats to both schools and the players and staff for making it. But yall Luers fans are something else. Hopefully this humbled you a little and next time you’ll respect your opponent and their fan base. And don’t come in here saying HH fans are being poor winners when yall were talking ALL the smack before kickoff. Give it. Take it.

Jett Goldsberry (Sophmore season half a year ago) 100m 10.88 200m 21.78 400m 48.65 Luers School Records: (according to athletic.net) 100m 11.14 Chris Ferrell 2015 200m 22.82 Justin Gaston 2018 400m 49.91 Austin Carteaux 2009 Jett Goldsberry 2024 Passing 1736 yards 26 TDS 4 ints Rushing 1499 yards 6tds 3235 yards 32 TDs FW Luers team Passing 1333 9TDs 7 ints Rushing 2390 33 TDs 3723 yards 40 TDs 1 player alone almost equates an entire teams offense. He is faster than anyone you have on your roster. You shut him down and it will be a decent game. Otherwise, I hold strong that it won’t be close, because the truth is, he isn’t the only great player on that team.

Look everyone, the Fort Wayne Homer is here talking about how Fort Wayne schools are better than everyone else. Who woulda thunk it. Heritage Hills may as well not show up. Luers, being they are in Fort Wayne, win by default. As if Heritage Hills hasn’t taken care of several top 10 3a schools including the favorite to win 3a (Evansville Memorial) already by double digits. Luers won’t be able to dig themselves out of a hole this week when they get behind. #SouthernIndianaFootball 💪🏼

This is a neat discussion, truth is, we already watched the state championship game, it was played at the Jungle in the Sectional 32 Championship game. I agree with the fella who said it would be a 3 score game. Heritage Hills second team gives up a couple late to allow Luers to get within 3 scores. 😏 Luers won’t have an answer for Goldsberry. Heritage Hills 35 Luers 14

I know, I am just implying that I disagree strongly with that particular line. I dont play in the pickem mostly just watch from afar and enjoy the picks. 👍

Our sophomore kicker ended up kicking for us as a freshman last season on varsity when his older brother went out with a broken foot after week 1. His brother is a senior this year so we are fortunate to have a guy who can kick for us on the JV, 37 yards today.

JV Score Corydon 17 North Harrison 0 Corydon returned the first punt for a TD, ran one in, and kicked a FG. Had the drive right before half that got down inside the 5 but didn’t get across before half and got down to the goal line at the end of the game and handed it off to a young guy who doesn’t get many reps to get him a carry. Score could have easily been 31-0. Corydon’s defense was stifling, held NH to what seemed like less than 60 total yards. Only played 8 minute quarters due to a lack of numbers from NH side.

Corydon plans to play NH JV this Saturday. Nothing has been communicated otherwise yet.

That play that Paoli JV took the lead back to go up 20-12 was wild! Corydon had drove down the field chunking out yards with the FB then on what, the 5 yard line he took a shot fumble it, another Corydon kid picked it up and tried scoring and took a shot and fumbled it, then the Paoli kid scooped it and score from like 98 yards out. All this under 2 to play? Wild!!

That’s correct

And this is why Brownstown continues to be a dominant football program year in and year out. You get my vote Cam when Reed decides to hang it up. -
