  1. May sound odd but playing last years New Pal team and only losing by 4 scores was an accomplishment, only Center Grove, Whiteland, Cathedral, and Valpo did that...
  2. Not Mr or 32 but last year they went 6-4 losing in the sectional to some team named New Palestine 35-7. The finished 2019 with a Sagarin rating of 50 in the state for comparision GS finished 72. Should be a good match up depending on who they graduated.
  3. And on a Saturday night so we can all watch it!
  4. I believe your prayers will be answered my friend, I have a good source that the IHSAA commissioner, IDOE, and the Indiana Governor are working/talking about how important it is for us to have fall sports. They are absolutely sold on the thought that we must push on and do everything we can to have a season. Keep praying and get ready for some football!!

  6. Could be a rematch at regionals I hate that GS won't play Owensboro like originally scheduled, I saw the Notre Dame just offered Owensboro's QB
  7. Who did you see highlights of?
  8. I'm taking B, BC, FP, GS, SR, HH, NP, TC Who ya got
  9. Game week, the new PAC is about to begin...
  10. @Titan32 said Central looked amazing against GS in the scrimmage... 9 err give or take a few years running! 😀
  11. I vote all non - athletes go virtual and put all the athletes in bubbles according to sport. A little more work for the teachers, some ticked off parents.... all for the betterment of our society! Think that will go over? 😁
  12. Mater Dei returns to practice https://www.courierpress.com/story/sports/2020/08/13/mater-dei-football-team-returns-practice-reitz-scrimmage-off/3363771001/
  13. Almost posted this earlier but I figured you would get to it eventually...😁
  14. I would think this would be true with nearly every team in the state...
  15. I do not believe that, I believe positive test are to be expected. Protocols to be followed, precautions will be made, games may be canceled but not the season. Not in jeopardy at this time IMO.

  17. I'm not reading thru 14 pages of this so bear with me. Those that believe the season should be cancelled or postponed to the spring, what would be the signs to return to play? What are the deciding factors that will make you feel comfortable to have a season?
  18. No guarantee that ND will play Clemson twice. Both are capable (ND much more so) of losing a regular season game outside of this matchup. You could also say, ND's schedule will be a lot tougher if the make it to the playoffs and have to play bama or Ohio state. As their schedule sits now, it is considered easier than it would have been. If they play Clemson twice that would change things, if they go to the college football playoffs that again would change things.
  19. I thought the main reason for a shutdown was to "flatten the curve." Knowing the virus was going to spread to nearly everyone at some point but to keep hospitals from being too full to handle the ones who would need help. Now hospitals are sitting below half capacity in our area and nurses with 20 years experience are being let go because the hospitals are going broke.
  20. iF they play Clemson twice that would obviously upgrade their SOS, but overall it is much weaker. One or two games doesn’t make the schedule
  21. I looked again at the IHSAA web page and didn’t see the 500 total anywhere, maybe I missed it! Here is what they have on their website for suggested seating limitations
