Confirming game for LCC comes this week against 4A Logansport.  Logansport had been a mid-range player in the NCC, which isn't that telling.  LCC's defense looked stout against Ritter although that was only for less than a quarter before the game was called.  Nonetheless, when you can hold a team to negative offense yards, excluding penalties, on two successive possessions, it's not a bad place to start.

Idk what to make of last yrs HC top dogs... HH is off to a ruff start.. WL seems solid as usual.. Western Seems down.. jury is still out on the Blue Devils...Bombers.. n Lakers ....

LCC has a great shot to go 7-2 this season and end up back in the Semi-state, but this time they will probably be playing Adams Central.

Think the Knights will only go as far as their D takes em... u seem to be ignoring a dangerous WeBo program.. and apparrently havent looked to c what Andrean is up to... and yeah ther AC further up the line... 2A North dosent look that Weak to me... even without Luers..

Andrean is 0-2 and they usually don't win state when they start 0-2.  There is still a lot of football to be played.

Do they usually open with Merriville and Valpo? Nope..Just last yr...What r those 2 ranked? Throw that 0-2 stat out... maybe got a break catcting em after they took out Penn.. or mayb they that good to keep it close.... talk about a Killer sched.. n still hav Chatard.. can they stay healthy??  i'll wait to c how they and WL do vrs Lowell... transitive prop of FB n all....hmmmmm...

They looked good for that quarter, but from what I gathered in that quarter, Ritter wouldn't be the measuring stick.  Logansport is a decent 4A team to LCC's 1A/2A team, but not overly strong.  They had a good team a couple of years ago, in 2022, but last year they only beat Anderson by a TD and lost to Adams by a point.  Nonetheless, being able to hang with a 4A school will be a good starting point for measuring the D.

No, they opened with Merrillville and Crown Point in 2022 and 2021.  They have played Merrillville the first or 2nd game of the season as far back as 2009.  Valpo doesn't look that great so far, because Penn doesn't look that great.  I think LCC has a good chance to beat Andrean this year.

If Andrean can make it out of their own sectional. I wouldn't sleep on Bremen this year. A lot of good players returned for them, and they play good defense. A lot of question marks in the North. I would say LCC is the favorite right now with what they returned on the offensive side of the ball, but anything can happen in November. A lot of football left to be played until then like someone pointed out.
