temptation Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 Ben Davis @ Pike: Pike had some early momentum but has not been the same since BD rolled them in week 3. On the other hand, Ben Davis seemed to have found something since their week 6 loss to LN, winning their last three. I'll take the Giants again, 34-20. Center Grove @ Jeffersonville: A battle tested CG team travels south to take on an overmatched Jeffersonville squad. A breath of fresh air considering the gauntlet the Trojans faced at the end of the season. The bus ride will last longer the game. Jeff is improved, but will be no match. Trojans roll 48-7. North Central @ Cathedral: No 6A team benefitted from the blind draw as much as the Irish as the extra week off, combined with NC in game one gives them a chance to lick their wounds and get healthy. This one was not close in the regular season and won't be again. 41-0 Irish. Lawrence North @ Lawrence Central: Another rematch of a regular season contest, though it was all the way back in week 1. LC actually gave LN its best game of the season ironically enough, only losing by 7. The teams sort of went in opposite directions after that however. I say LN wins a bit more comfortably this time even though its a rivalry game. LN wins 31-14. Tech @ Warren Central: Another lopsided one here as the Titans are completely overmatched. Warren has some momentum heading into the tournament but will not be tested until the regional. Warren wins 56-0. What say you? Quote
