I love the hire...most Lions fans who are also Michigan fans do as well...

I think Ryan Day pi$$ing off Jim Knowles, with him exiting to Penn State will bite the Buckeyes in the butt big time.  Seems Day has an ego that won't end.....

Yep.  Knowles' crazy sister spilled the beans in a few epic Twitter rants last month.

Wanna wager (friendly)  he will eventually flip to LSU or Texas before signing day?

IMO, these early committments these days are just to leverage for a better offer (as in MONEY) for the local school, I opin that the move to OSU verbal is to leverage LSU to not come short on the package expecting him to take the home town discount.     Just my theory

But in O$U’ s defense, they did win the NC this year.

Cute.  Really proves that college football runs through the Big Ten now since the 4th place team can win a natty.

2021:  “We had the flu and it was cold.”

2022:  “Just a few big plays.”

2023:  “They had our signs.”

2024:  “Kevin Wilson recruited Sherrone Moore as a player and helped him defend OSU’s offense.”

2025:  ???

Still waiting for Day to “hang 100.”

productive.....

He is wearing some Natty bling....without any controversy of rulebreaking.....

No gold pants.  No Big Ten title.

He did recently get to come to Indy though (something Ohio State hasn't done since 2019)...saw him and Steele with Coach Moore...so there's that.

Its not over, although no Buckeye fan here.  Just saying very few get a Natty.  I am sure he will wear that one with some satisfaction.

I would have to guess not the first time he's been back home over the past 3 years.

Natties are more enjoyable when you go undefeated and beat your rivals.

I get that....but I'd still feel pretty blessed.

Unpopular opinion:  OSU’s 14-2 “natty” with a 4th consecutive loss to their main rival has more of an “asterisk” next to it than Michigan’s 15-0 natty that included “signs stolen with iPhone footage” by random low level staffer.

I don't agree with the asterisk. At the end of the season, OSU was, without a doubt, the best team in the country by double digits. It's hard for any team to go unscathed during the regular season. I can't stand OSU, so it's hard for me to defend them on anything, but damn, they were good. Best team money could buy, for sure. One off game can't define a team though. I'd argue Notre Dame (healthy or even unhealthy as they were) was unquestionably the second best team in the country despite losing to Northern Illinois.

Hey, I get it.  It takes a SPECIAL team to go undefeated and win a national title.  Its not for everybody.
