there is no debate to be had, cp has been massively overrated for the last two years, decent football team, but not top 5,

I didn't call for a 25 point game, i said Carmel -20.5

and I certainly didn't ever say anything about fishers.

East Central would have walked all over CP in 22 or 23.

Chatard and cathedral would have as well

Just busting your balls Rodney.

I might give you East Central over Crown Point in '22, but '23 would be a good game. I think "walked all over" is pretty bold.

Box Score watching or did you attend of stream?   Is there some actual context to why you have that opinion?   Players?  Scheme?  etc.

Saw that after I went back.

They put in their 2nd tier defense and there was like 3 touchdowns in last 3 mins or something like that.

CP has a program of 221 players ( Number I was told in the Summer, that is 9-12). They dress like 125 or so on Fridays

That is the information I was told as well when I was on a smoking hot date with my smoking hot wife Saturday night at the local 3 Monkeys!!!

GOOD to be BACK !!!

Love the Thread @temptation

Carmel has dismantled all three opponents that they have played and I firmly believe Fishers and HSE are borderline top 10 teams.

Brownsburg beat a nationally ranked Spalding (MD) squad that has since lost another game and is sitting at 2-1, along with the worst Cathedral team in the past 10 years and a low tier HCC team in Franklin Central.

Was Gibbs in the field in the 4th quarter? If yes, then CP was not subbing.

To be honest, I don’t pay that much attention to the players. I’m there to observe and evaluate the officials.

I'll take Carroll over those two teams with a good size bet.

Only losing at HSE by a touchdown without the guy who torched CG for three touchdowns.

Toilet bowl? Nah. True north has taken two of the last three semi-states. Not keeping up on current events?

Speaking of current events, for some reason I suddenly don’t feel so bad about my Pike prediction…

Pike is bad, that is all

And Carroll is average.

Their best “win” of the year will be an 11 point loss to Center Grove.

Bleh, we'll see.

Gibbs came off all game here and there but still played 90% of snaps

Gibbs plays both sides of the ball, but 90% is a stretch. Watch the public film. Also it is clear he is  wasn’t even running the show against Merrillville. From what I’ve seen, when Crown Point has a solid lead, the second and third string rotate in after halftime. That’s why the score doesn’t reflect how the game actually played out
