What might be even worse is Greencastle has beaten 3 other teams this year...yikes!

Same thing happened in our game:   our Varsity O was up 41-0 after 1st Q, subbed out to JV (we literally have 17 Varsity guys of the 30 (down SR Lineman, down Freshman kid and another kid, so 33 is now 30) we have total, played JV rest of game, those 13 players on offense made up mostly Freshman, then had to deal with a varsity Defense selling out and blitzing 8 to 9 guys ....  so it goes... however, they didn't punt multiple times in 1st Q..... then we punted they funmbled it at the 4 (4th Q) and we proceeded to kick FG on 4th down.   They did sub out to their JV in late 4th, and after another turnover on downside inside their own 30, we scored with 2 mins to go with Freshman.   Made it 51-0.   Alomst was 58-0 when with 45 sec and running clock, they chose to continue to call timeouts, just to throw again..... we picked it off and ran it back 45 yards and got tackled at 2 yard line...... 

They were 3-28 passing for 15 yards on the game and only attempted I believe 1 run in the 1st Q, and mabye 2 runs entire game and 10 all game.

Southmonts is also 7-0, this will be a good barometer for both teams.

Cascade has a chance. Their offense is very good and quick hitting and their defense has come a long way too. As for the schedule they are where they need to be right now. Cascade through its history has only had two Era's of winning (more than two seasons in a row with winning records) Moyers and now Simmons. What's amazing is that Cascade has been a bit of a cradle of coaches. Darrin Fisher, Derek Moyers and Mike Kirschner have all been head coaches there. Connor has done a phenomenal job continuing that and building it. 

And yes, my in-laws used to live in the eastern part of the Cascade district, and we've watched it really begin to pop over the last 20 years. Their road was once a sleepy country road, now there are multiple subdivisions both along the road and along the parts of U.S. 40 near the old Plainfield Elks (which is right on the district line between Cascade and Plainfield).

Two of those wins are against 0-7 teams, but Greencastle's offense is good. However, their defense has given up 42 points in every game but one this year.
