foxbat Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 Takeaway from Week 6 ... Even though there's less than half a regular season to go, I suspect it will seem longer than that for LCC. Three regular season games left and the bright spot is that they get Benton Central for one of those. Common foe Twin Lakes beat both teams, but while Benton Central gave up more points, they scored more than the 3 that LCC put up. For the second time since LCC rejoined the Hoosier Conference, they'll be looking for a win against BC to end up not being the last-placed team in their division. They round things out with Tipton who beat RCHS 33-14 a couple of weeks ago. LCC lost to RCHS last week 40-7. Last regular season game is at Guerin. Potential silver lining for LCC, although it will be painful to attain it, is that they are probably, at best, ranked 4th in a field of 8 for Sectional 34. If they don't get out of Sectional 34 with a win, their two-year SF total will only be 1 point and they will head back down to 1A in 2026. Quote

Congrats on punt return yardage. The point is Carroll couldn't run the ball and and couldn't stop the run, but somehow the harder hitting team.....you sure have a graph of the game. You were also wrong about the score...no ties in the second half....but love your logic....you are the "expert" because you were in the stands. I guess one does embellish when looking for moral victories.....bet you always catch the biggest fish when out on a fishing trip with your pals too So angry. Quote

You said more than that....I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt by thinking you are just forgetful. You asked why you got no "likes" on your comment....I simply responded because your posts were silly about only being able to gain insight of a game in the stands vs TV, and that Carroll "outhit" CG. My challenge (and you've yet to answer) is how can a team "outhit" another by giving up 500+ yds of total offense, 300+ yds of rushing, and they themselves have 15 total rushing yds? Those stats alone confirm who won the LOS on both sides of the ball, and that the front 7 of Carroll was pushed around. The Carroll safeties did land some hits.....they had no other choice. But hey, I am seeing that logic doesn't land.....moving on. Quote

I was just going by the number of loud pops I heard from the stands. You really do need to move on from this. You're expending a lot of unnecessary energy all because someone said a team from Fort Wayne hit harder than your Trojans. What does it matter, your Trojans won the game like they normally do. I've seen harder hitting teams by far. I've seen teams with far more talent. I've also seen plenty of teams that play with more tenacity than Center Grove. But I do admire how the Trojans punish you with precision every play. They are very well coached. 2 Quote

Sure...if the front 7 is getting beat, forcing safeties to come up on the fly and assuming they can tackle, pads will make a sound. No argument Carroll secondary could hit. But overall, the team that got dominated with the run and could not run was NOT the more physical team. What you are saying make no sense. CG has a number of guys on the OL going to be playing at the next level....they are not getting there on "precision" alone. That is why I commented that your post lacked likes...its makes no sense.
