what about Harrison?    Scrappy play and opportunity football had them in both games with North and Castle.  SIAC is always interesting.  

North has the 33rd toughest schedule. North Central (Indy) has the 4th. 

Both are 1-3. North Central is ranked much higher in the Sagarin ratings.

But yes, North appears to be a very average SIAC team right now.

Just pointing out all the close losses (that could all be wins).   If they were 4-0 they would be in first in the conference.       If all we are looking at is SOS, HH has 229 rated and GS has 176 rated.   So what does this mean?

The Associated Press could only find a handful of voters in Indiana. It seems that the USA Today/Gannett writers boycotted it. Kind of a shame to see a poll with so much history just fall apart. Another L in journalism we can chalk up to USA Today/Gannett.

When Gannett ended its connection with the AP a few years ago, we were informed that we were no longer allowed to vote in AP polls (high school or college). So a bunch of us on the high school side, including myself, chose to form our own poll. No boycott. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I was not aware that you no longer were part of the Associated Press. Point taken. I have nothing against the journalists, my gripe is with the way corporate management handled the takeovers. I assumed there was a boycott because the poll is still being sent to USA Today staff. 

Also, we would love for you to vote in TGD Polls and to post more in general.

1. Only 1 or 2 weekly conference games are competetive.  I just looked at Harrels gameday scores, about 100 were a 3 touchdown margin or more. Any thoughts on any realignments to remedy this? It seems to be getting worse.

Before Lincoln left the SIAC, I had really hoped the SIAC could be split into two divisions - 5 EVSC and the 5 Others. It does Bosse, Harrison and Central no good to get throttled every week except when they play each other. And it isn't fun or helpful for the opponents either (except being able to rest players). I cannot imagine the challenge a coach faces trying to get players to come out and then getting clobbered each Friday.
