I like the Steelers pick of Drew Allar.  Think he and Will Howard can do well in the league.  It’s time Rodgers poops or get off the pot.  I can see Allar as their man in 27.  I still think Howard will be a starting nfl qb when all is said and done.

Hoosiers first time ever with 3 draft picks in the top 50....4 overall in the first 3 rounds.

Ohio State...4 drafted out of the first 11 picks in the first round.  Yet, lost to both IU and Miami this season.  Coaching still matters......

Correlation between choosing to not invest in NIL to the extent you could field competitive teams and this…

Going back to an era when IU and Wisconsin were at or close to the bottom in the Big Ten.

Pittsburgh reported 805k fans this weekend. Well done.

I was thinking about this...does everyone have to buy a ticket?  If not, how do they know attendance with a degree of accuracy?

Very strongly worded statement from the NFL declining Sorsby’s request to enter a supplemental draft. The overall ruling is there will not be a supplemental draft this year.

Sorsby is getting bad legal advice through all of this. His attorney’s statement shows that pretty clearly.
You re an idiot if you were thinking there was not going to be any review of that application.

This is directly from the CBA and it will be what sinks his case

From the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement, Article 6:

"If a player who was not eligible for the Draft in any League Year becomes eligible after the date of the Draft, he will be eligible to be selected in a Supplemental Draft, *if the League elects to conduct such a Draft*…”

good luck taking on the NFL:   They have had a running clock since 2000

And their last defeat only cost them $1.

Interesting footnote. Kessler represented the NFL in the case against Maurice Clarett. He is basically trying to reverse the same rule he argued for to keep Clarett out.

The largest taxpayer boondoggle in NFL history just opened in Buffalo:  https://cnycentral.com/news/local/ribbon-cut-on-new-22b-highmark-stadium-taxpayers-helped-fund-850m-of-it

Quote

The Buffalo Bills cut the ribbon on the new Highmark Stadium on Tuesday morning.

It's the first new home for the Bills in more than 50 years. The stadium comes at a hefty price of $2.2 billion. Taxpayers contributed to $850 million of that.

Specifically, taxpayers in Erie County contributed around $250 million to the stadium. The rest of New York State paid the remaining $600 million.

Buffalo Bill Owner Terry Pegula, whose estimated net worth, according to Forbes, is $9.3 billion, did not mention the taxpayer contributions on Monday.

He did thank the Bills fans who contributed $263 million via personal seat licenses. He also thanked the NFL's other 31 owners and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for approving the new stadium.

The Bills expect to play at the new Highmark Stadium for 30 years.

So an owner worth $9.3 billion couldn't come up with and extract $850 million. I seriously doubt that. No Mr. Pegula just wanted to suck on that free taxpayer teat for as much as he could.

Sorsby getting a glimpse into his future….one that will likely be without him ever playing pro football.

Guess the UFL indicated they would take him...but guess he will now wait it out until the next NFL draft, unless successful if he files a suit for a forced supplemental draft.

Update on Sorsby

Hope he focuses on his addiction and get his opportunity for the 2027 draft.
