CaptainHook
#1 Carmel was 5-1 vs top 11 teams. Wins vs CG x2, Ben Davis, HSE (#10??? what? how???) and WC. But losses to #14 North Central and Louisville Trinity (who Cathedral crushed) Avon is #2? Really? New Palestine has wins against 3 top 11 teams. Center Grove, Cathedral, and Valpo. Staxawax
Sagarin is mostly based on who you played and who your opponents played. (In state games only) Avon is not being penalized for losing 1 game even though it was the 1st game of the tourney. We’ll never know how good or bad Avon was. Kind of reminds me of the exchange at the end of Sneakers: Crease: Ah, I have never taken my wife to Europe. Abbot: I'm sorry to hear it. Give me the box. Crease: You will buy me two round-trip, first-class tickets to Athens, Lisbon, Madrid, and Scotland. Bish: Don't forget Tahiti. Crease: And Tahiti. Abbot: Tahiti is not in Europe! Carl: Excuse me. When you get the box, you give us geography lessons. Until then, this man goes to Tahiti.

CalPreps (which I think ends up becoming MaxPreps) has the following overall ranking: 1. New Palestine 2. Carmel 3. Bishop Chatard 4. Cathedral 5. Avon I’m down with that. Funny factoid. The Chatard Seniors played the New Pal Seniors as Freshmen. Chatard also played Avon in scrimmage this year. The only team Chatard has NOT played (scrimmage or prior years)as far as I know is Carmel. Dick is a perennial speaker at Chatard events or broadcast games. BTW, he covered the Hamilton Heights/Chatard Regional in 2010. I’ll never forget that day since our home was robbed the morning of the game.

Took me awhile to get acclimated.
Lysander
I’m still hoping you can find those toilet seat horseshoes from back in the day (it’s been 9 years, Bro....damn.......unbelievable.) Sadly, John Deere Grandma and Grandpa have passed since then. Hell.........not so sure about myself these days.
