I'm on board with the inventing football part 😁
GS Titan 77
More than 1 fan according to the rumblings along the fence and in the bleachers. Depth chart...lol. Sorry to continue to hear about and see defensive problems yet not get it fixed. To put it in baseball terms, don’t complain about your fielding if you aren’t taking ground ball after ground ball at practice. You can’t shag fly balls during batting practice and home run derby and expect something different on defense on Friday nights. This came from a prominent offensive player’s parent last night. Plenty of time to improve. It was a W and put us at the top of the PAC. 5 more weeks to keep getting better. This team could be really good by the time post season rolls around.

You see this in basketball, but with tournaments... I wonder if there is a PAC by-law or the ADs/coaches flipped a coin or how that worked out. Statistically the home team does have a 1-2 point advantage in all levels of football. Should be interesting to see how GS handles Mockobee, given the rush defense so far has been less than stellar (no offense intended just stating the obvious). I hate being right. I don't buy the argument that Boonville was more affected than HH in Week 3. Regardless, GS got the W, that's what is important. Should be interesting to see the rematch. As always, especially in 1-4A HS FB, a dominate playmaker can make any game interesting. Props to Boonville for coming to play. Coach Ward is headed in the right direction.
