The guys up front, on both sides of the ball. The O-line has been outstanding for Ellison (my worry here would be his size in the cold, hard hits in this cold feels a little different). I wish I had 1st half stats from some of the CP games but watching them control the line of scrimmage against Merrillville (2 outstanding RB's, held to less than 20yds) Valpo, and Chesterton who are all run heavy teams makes me lean towards the same outcome tonight.

I was just asking to get a little more thoughts on it. Good response. Should make for a great game and great atmosphere.

Valpo and Chesterton don't have Westfield's lines. IF Crown Point can win I would be shocked if the margin was more than 7 points. Heart says Crown Point. Brain says Westfield by 3. I have a feeling both teams will burn a lot of clock on the ground and keep the score somewhat low. Go 'Dogs!

Honestly I feel Westfield and Crown Point mirror each other in a lot of ways.

LOL. Very true. I can understand being bullish on this years Crown Point team; however, he's gauranteeing something will happen that hasn't happened since 1977 (A DAC team winning the largest class in Football). Tomorrow night should be interesting. I drove by Riverview Health Stadium earlier this morning on 31. It's covered in snow and we should be getting more snow this afternoon. I'm guessing Westfield or Mother Nature will have the field cleared by kickoff, but the conditions may not be great for offensive football. We could be looking at a 17-14 type of game where the team who killed the most clock running the ball will win.

I live a short distance from the school. I drove by late yesterday afternoon when the team was practicing outdoors in the snow. Now win tonight, and they will have the luxury of practicing next week inside at nearby Grand Park. I haven't been by there yet today, but the yards and rooftops are cleared of snow. The wind is still blowing out of the west, so with that large press box, it's a good direction for us on the Westfield side. The wide open visitor side, well, dress warm :)

Total domination by the Westfield Shamrocks tonight, nothing for Crown Point to hang their heads in they had another terrific season

It is all good man keep showing pride for them. In all fairness some like myself were staying reserved on Crown Point. They are very good, I could see on film they were good. I just didn't have a full gage for how good until they played a team that could match their size, speed, and strength. Westfield has been on fire since their loss in a tight game against Brownsburg.

One thing many don't realize until they watch Westfield in person. Their RB's and LB's are decent size players themselves. they really pound on you.
