Coach Nowlin Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 You can check it out here at its new home on IFCA Long story, but Richmond on site no longer, and IFCA has done a great job returning many great artifacts to schools and creating this website and tremendous PODCASTS as well. DK_Barons Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 There is way too much information on the inductees page. Or way too many photos I should say. On a gigabit internet connection at school it is one of the slowest loading sites I've visited in a long time. They really need to index it into many pages broken up by the alphabet. It doesn't need to be a page for every letter (maybe some), but it can't be one single continuous page. . It looks really nice but it has some issues. Quote
00NWP Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 I realize the 4A North is not great this year...but....Mishawaka may be a bit of a stretch as the Northern representative. I could see them losing 4-5 games during the season this year. Quote
PHJIrish Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 I just scanned through the members of the HOF, all worthy. But I wonder why Cathedral's Otis Shannon isn't included? He held several rushing records for many years. Quote

I guess they have to start the nominating process? Quote
Coach Nowlin Posted November 26, 2024 Author Posted November 26, 2024 Yes, the IFCA HOF committee has the overall Board who gives the green light of all prospective applicants. For instance, Coach Chris Meeks went into the IFCA HOF 2 years ago. I filled out the application through Region 4, then the Region 4 HOF committee reviewed it with other applicants, his application made it pass the Region 4 committee and went to the Big Board of which they also gave it the go ahead. From there, the process of induction gets turned back over to the individual involved. In Region 4, we are fortunate to partner with the National Football Foundation Joe Tiller Chapter and many choose to go in during the honors brunch held in June every year. The last 3 Rensselaer Guys who got the nod, Coach Chris Meeks, player Danny Brandenburg, did that through Purdue, Danny's father Steve Brandenburg chose to get inducted halftime of a RCHS game 6 or 7 years ago.
