Bobref
Bob James, longtime assistant and very recently the HFB coach at LaPorte is retiring, reports WHME Ch. 46. Just strikes me as sort of odd, since he fought hard to get the job only a year ago. In any event, an outstanding career for a HOF coach. coachmorales
with all the drama this school has been through, is it even worth applying for this position or will it continue to be a revolving door of head football coaching vacancies
US31
Been several years since I've had an oppourtunity to talk to Coach James...but spent MANY summers working Belden Line Camp with Coach James back in the day. He is one of the good ones, and there wasn't just a little bit of knowledge I absorbed from him....both X&O's and just how to coach kids. Best of Luck Coach!! Epple has no teaching credentials but serves as the school resource office through the La Porte County Sheriff Office at La Porte High School.
