I remember listening to him, in his Tri-Central era, Saturday mornings on a Kokomo radio station coaches show for area coaches. What a truly inspirational man ! From the moment he spoke, I wanted to put the pads on and play for him at my advanced age. Totally changed my thinking of him from what you read on this forum, thats for sure ! He will be missed !!!
