Hmmmmm.............from NE 1. Dwenger over Roncalli - The Saints lost a LOT of starters 2. Carroll going up 40-0 over Hamilton Southeastern 3. East Noble shutting down the North Side All Start team 19-0 4. Concordia taking care of business against Scecina 5. South Side hammering Marion 49-6 after going 0-3 the previous three years

I’d put Floyd Central in the “teams to watch” category.

Good win for Warren Central, for sure. Congratulations to them. I have no doubt that WC beat a very good CG team, not a team having a "down" year. The top three is going to be tough to crack though.

Didn't they have like 3 SEC type dlineman on a team that didn't make it past the regional? And haven't made it past the regional since 2018 other than last year? Just a hunch that is why.

Last Friday had some surprises with Small School Division teams winning 3 matchups against Big Schools. Throw in North Daviess handling Washington. Forest Park, Tecumseh, and North Posey over Mt Vernon, Princeton, and Southridge. Just one week. But maybe something to keep an eye on as the season progresses.

My bad. I known how good they are but the Rubbers seem to get a lot of the 6A love. I did say I have a lizard brain, but best of luck to the Jeff Georges…

Warren beating Center Grove really shouldn’t have been surprising. They just beat them in the regional and returned most of the team. If Carmel or CG or any other historical power returned the amount of D1 talent that Warren has after a semi state run, we’d be talking about them on a short list of favorites to make it to Lucas Oil. Not sure why everyone is sleeping on Warren.

Hypothetically speaking, if Center Grove beats Carroll next week, are we going to believe in the Warren hype train? Seeing how they went on the road with a backup QB and beat CG…..

North Central beating Brebeuf Warren Central slipping by Center Grove Noblesville annihilated Tech Hanover Central took care of Michigan City Are we in the end of days? BTW, South Newton won their inaugural 8-man tilt against Waldron.
