Clean game last night. Granted Washington is not good, but IU needs games like that. They are playing well late in the year and nothing like the team we saw for most of the season. They are playing smart; fewer bad shots taken, taking care of the basketball, fewer bad fouls, and better play in the paint. If they can continue to play like that, they could surprise some teams coming up. oh, and I LOVED those uniforms. I really like the cursive Indiana logo, and think it looks good on any uniform in any sport they have put it on. But last night was the best alternate uniform I can remember seeing. The ones they canceled were really bad looking. not a fan at all of the FoG line Adidas has come up with for IU.

Loved the Script as well, always a fan of black, I believe I may have referenced something a few pages back about letting the IU kids lead vs who gets the biggest check, seems like somone in Woodson camp seen same thing that nayone paying attention to other than Woodson saw Dangerous team playing well at the right time Its march, gonna get serious now

It was once called Tomahawk Youth Football. I guess its just called the Indy Warriors under the Warren Township Football Club name.

Fife did not leave IU on good terms. I saw he is doing some color on games. I really don't see him getting back into coaching on this level. One of the reasons he was let go is because he was very vocal with recruits and parents about his hatred of NIL. While we all may agree with him, it does not translate to being a solid or reliable approach for recruiting. Woodson had told him to stop doing it, but he did not. Similar to other coaches who have left other programs in other sports, I have a feeling Fife puts himself in the same boat of not wanting to coach in the current environment.

I too was impressed with the uniforms. This team is finally starting to play closer to their potential. I really don't see them hitting their ceiling though. They need a staff familiar with the college game vs that of the NBA. Fans are getting what they want, a new coach at the end of the season. Now let's just sit back, root the Hoosiers on, and hope we have someone to root for in the tournament besides Purdue. I'm still wondering what's going on with Dane Fife. IPFW improved every season he was there before his ten year stint with Tom Izzo. The guy has a hell of a resume, yet he's not even coaching anywhere?

My concern is what the players have been seen doing in their down time. They spend too much time on social media. They are seen in the local bars at all hours into the early mornings. They may have caught lightning in a bottle. And maybe/hopefully the players have chosen themselves to reign in the nonsense.

Let's hope so. I'd love to start watching them again.

With social media, website, graphics, et al, and with the number of media members who cover our school's teams on a regular basis, having someone to do athletics communications is pretty important. Our school just happens to have a veteran of the media on its teaching staff to do that work. Believe me, it's a very, very, very part-time job.

The idea that this site and his Facebook page are “competition” is weird to me. How is talking about high school football “competition”? The way I see it, come here if you like it better. If you like his stuff better, go there. If you like both, then you’re free to go back and forth. But whatever you do, remember it’s about the kids and the game we love. That should be the focus.
