Wrong, Notre Dame isn't there because of Bama . The fix was done the week prior when they barely beat a bad Auburn team and jumped in front of ND . It was done to protect Bama at all costs . Why do people keep mentioning Miami ? Fact is , Miami and ND should be there .

If I were a betting man , I would Bet that this years National champion has at least 1 loss .

In the past , this type of setback could of taken Michigan years to recover from. But with the transfer portal now , a new coach could be in contention in a year or two .

Had Michigan beat Ohio State and made the playoff , this whole situation would of been swept under the table .

Every P4 conference does have a TV network that they have to divide between 15 schools . How many schools is ND dividing their NBC contract with ?

Very accurate . When I said years ago , It was way before any NBC contract , you need to go read about it . Notre Dame has actively sought to join the Big Ten (then the Western Conference) multiple times, particularly in its early history (late 1890s, early 1900s) and again in the 1990s, but was rejected by the conference, leading them to embrace football independence and forge their own path with national rivalries and unique TV deals, like their current partnership with NBC.

Why are people so hell bent on a conference . ND tried joining the B10 years ago , only to get blocked by Michigan . If ND can survive without being in a conference , why join one ? We will be fine , we will move on to 2026 .

Has nothing to do with Miami . It has everything to do with Alabama getting blown out by 5-7 Florida State and then Blown out again in the SEC championship game . Both ND and Miami should be in .

That would be fine because they still went to a major bowl . Only bowl offered outside the CFP now is the Pop Tart bowl or Music City bowl , No thank You. Not worth the risk of injuries .

Notre Dame did not lose to an unranked team . Bama did and so did Miami twice . I guess Bama playing LA Monroe and Eastern , IL helped them. Look what ND did to Arkansas , no other SEC did that to Razorbacks . ND lost to 2 highly ranked teams by a combined 4 points , while playing with a Freshman QB making his first college starts . And no 3 loss team should ever be in the playoff period .

And Bama gets blown out by a 5-7 Florida State team and then Boat raced by Georgia in the SEC championship . They don't even drop a spot. Every other team that lost it's conference championship dropped besides Bama . SEC bias is real .

Odd not seeing an Ohio school in the top 30 .

They did split schools when they built Fishers high school . Half go to HSE and the other half Fishers . That area is still growing , I think a third High School could be needed .

I could see Fishers hitting 5K students by 2030 .

Both Penn and Carroll return very good QB's that should be near the top of 6A talent wise . The Carroll QB is a better runner of the two .
