  1. North Judson- Think Judson tries to make another statement this week against their main sectional oppenent. 48-6 Caston- Caston, the only HNAC team to lose week one, gets their first win of the season. 35-14 Knox- Think we find out a lot about these teams after this game. Is Pioneer back? Is knox just overrated? Knox wins 51-16 North Miami- Pulling for the HNAC. NM wins in a close one 28-26 Boone Grove-Don't know much about either team but going with similiar results to last year. BG 35-13 Triton- Triton looks to show last week was no mistake. Trojans 28-14 West Central- WC wins in a close one 21-20 Winamac- 35-21
  2. I don’t agree with that. my guess is that Knox rolls Pioneer but I could be wrong. Don’t under estimate how tough Judson is.
  3. Nothing like a playoff game week 1… Judson beat Knox 42-21. These are 2 very good physical teams. Even with a 3 TD loss, Knox is a much better team than I expected them to be.
  4. You may be the only person outside of LaVille and Triton folks having this as the game of the week. lol It will be a good game but I'm guessing most are saying it's 1A #1 vs 3A #5 as the game of the week. (Who are also huge county rivals)
  5. Culver- Because Attica is seeking their first win in 3 years. South Central- SC starts their season off with a win before coming up on 2 tough weeks. Carroll-Not sure what Carroll has returned but think they continue to be decent. NJSP- Knox thinks they'll run all over them with their speed and they might but I'm staying a homer and picking the Jays. Big key for the jays is containing the outside/big plays. LaVille- Toss up and should be a good game. Very interested to see what both teams look like this year. North Miami- NM looking for revenge of last years game and the excitement they have for being in a new conference propels them to a win. Pioneer- I think Pioneer ends the regular season 7-2 and this won't be one of their losses. WC- No idea
  6. North Judson returns basically everyone from last years team. LaVille should be pretty good. Won't be as big as last years team but should be solid. I look for Pioneer to have a good year and get back to their winning ways.
  7. thanks for the correction, my phone's autocorrect really appreciated that.
  8. Not retire, he's still too pationate about the game. I could see him looking for another challenge after this current group graduates.
  9. The real thing is....will Radtke be there 1 more year or 2?
  10. Believe Knox and NJ play week one. It will be a heck of a game with both teams expected to be good again. Knox wins those 2 games they probably stay undefeated until playoffs.
  11. Crown point ever shut those lights off at any of those fields? They trying to show off or what? lol
  12. Judson kept it close for a half. Struggled to defend the pass once again. Great season jays. AC wearing them down now.
  13. Adam central up 14-12 at half over Judson
  14. Yep. Ugly early. good season Knox.
  15. ultimately no discussion on either of the 1a games. Does either underdog have a chance tonight?
  16. Tradionally they haven't been a good team until here lately. Radtke has that effect on programs. He almost instantly turns them into winners. They are moving to a bigger conference next year with mostly 3a or 2a teams. Their current conference is mostly 1a or 2a schools but it's a pretty good small school conference. The Judson game is typically a terrible game to gauge them on with it being their rivalry. Knox may play a perfect game and still get blown out in this game. I think the whole town realizes the uphill battle they face with playing the juggernaut of Chatard. Them trying to schedule a Merriville or Valpo (which i doubt the DAC schools would schedule them with them trying to prepare for the indy teams as well) wouldn't make that much of a difference for them. Except maybe cause a few more injuries and add a loss on their scheule.
  17. Lots of sand bagging going on, guess neither side wants to give any bulletin board material. Luers having a "down" year from their perspective but I still see them as the favorite to win this game. Luers 35-21
  18. Are you secretly a knox poster? I thought only rural communties had to deal with lag. lol
  19. I think you are out here arguing with yourself on this game. There is one Knox poster in this group and he/she has only said that the team has to believe they can win in order to win.
  20. I miss the old Judson/RC sectional matchups,It's weird seeing Judson in 1a and RC in 3a. Seemed like every year it was the sectional championship game.
  21. Very few teams have played anyone the Caliber of Chatard.
  22. 100% this. Drawing comparison of 2 teams from a preseason scrimmage that maybe happend 15-16 weeks ago is a bit of a stretch. Now will Chatard beat the tar out of Knox like they did TV? Probably, but we all hope not.
  23. It was a mixture of having one of their top players out and the team finding their identity. Not saying they are a better or worse team than the previous 2 years but they are a much different team compared to those.
  24. Chatard has been the preseason favorite for a reason. Knox wasn't expected to do much this season but here they are. Knox are still heavy underdogs in the game but they are a team that won't quit. Radtke is one of the best coaches all time and will have his team ready. Can he gameplan enough to stop the juggernaut that is Chatard? I don't think they'll have enough to keep up with them but that's why the game is played.
