    Assumed locked and cocked. My Springfield Range Officer only has 7 in the mag, 1 in the pipe. Classic Colt M45A1 mags only held 7.

    Quick search of Kimber's site lists 7, 8, and 10 capacity for their 1911 Government Commander.

    Well, that’s not enough information to answer the question! What is a Kimber 1911 and what does .45 ACP mean?
    Does the man look poor or oppressed? Is he really a terrorist? Am I guilty of profiling? Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
    Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation?
    Does the pistol have an appropriate safety built into it? Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?
    Is it possible he’d be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?
    Should I call 9-1-1? Why is this street so deserted? Can we make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior?
    I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus. This is all so confusing!

    The uni-party has to look at this trend with dismay.  Without more happy little worker drones to fund their increasingly larger tax-and-spend schemes like Medicare For All,  Free College Education, Endless Wars in the Middle East,  etc.  what are they going to do?   "Tax the rich" even more?

       

    So given the fact there are about 2.8 millionish deaths per year, it's still a net gain of about a million.

    Dude seriously, we're talking about Ft. Myers Beach, a pic of Mexico Beach, located in the Red Neck Riviera, Irma damage in the keys, and boat from the devastation of the Bahamas last fall......

    My parents were in Ft. Myers when Charley came thru in 04, their place was about 6 miles from FMB by way the crow flies, right on a canal from the gulf. Aside from some damaged landscaping, life went on. 

    Nature happens everywhere, we're all going to die at some point.

    I would love to do the WWII tour in Europe. Now all I have to do is save a gazillion dollars and free up a couple of weeks. Hopefully in July so I can catch a mountain top finish in the Tour de France. Knock off two bucket list items.

    Nothing to tell. I have been approached about several positions all of which I have declined. As I have stated previously my time is valuable, and I despise meetings.
