Interesting - the second clip must not have fully loaded....Also not sure since I don't own a Kimber, but I think there wouldn't be a "click" after running the mag dry......Normally a semi-auto stays open. Also, the shooter obviously wasn't carrying it cocked and locked with one in the chamber since the clip capacity is 8......
Assumed locked and cocked. My Springfield Range Officer only has 7 in the mag, 1 in the pipe. Classic Colt M45A1 mags only held 7.
Quick search of Kimber's site lists 7, 8, and 10 capacity for their 1911 Government Commander.

How to tell if someone is a Republican, a Democrat, or just a Southerner.
Are you a Republican, a Democrat, or a Southerner? This little test will help you decide:
You’re walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children.
Suddenly, a Terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges at you…
You are carrying a Kimber 1911 chambered in .45 ACP, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?
******************************
Democrat’s Answer:
Well, that’s not enough information to answer the question! What is a Kimber 1911 and what does .45 ACP mean?
Does the man look poor or oppressed? Is he really a terrorist? Am I guilty of profiling? Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation?
Does the pistol have an appropriate safety built into it? Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?
Is it possible he’d be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?
Should I call 9-1-1? Why is this street so deserted? Can we make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior?
I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus. This is all so confusing!
******************************
Republican’s Answer:
BANG!
******************************
Southerner’s Answer:
BANG!
BANG! BANG!
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Click…..
(Sounds of reloading)
BANG!
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
BANG!
Click.
Daughter: “Nice grouping, Daddy! Were those the Speer Gold Dots or Federal Premium hollow points?!”
Son: “Can I shoot the next one?!”
Wife: “You are NOT taking that to a Taxidermist!”Sadly I counted the bangs to make sure there was the proper amount, eight followed by seven, I guess that answers the question for me.

So I expect higher immigration rates to make up the needed difference?

The uni-party has to look at this trend with dismay. Without more happy little worker drones to fund their increasingly larger tax-and-spend schemes like Medicare For All, Free College Education, Endless Wars in the Middle East, etc. what are they going to do? "Tax the rich" even more?
So given the fact there are about 2.8 millionish deaths per year, it's still a net gain of about a million.

I’ll be honest my least favorite course. It would be neat to see though. I’m guess I’ll need to save that second gazillion for the extra couple of weeks stay and the trip to the French Rivera.

Dude seriously, we're talking about Ft. Myers Beach, a pic of Mexico Beach, located in the Red Neck Riviera, Irma damage in the keys, and boat from the devastation of the Bahamas last fall......
My parents were in Ft. Myers when Charley came thru in 04, their place was about 6 miles from FMB by way the crow flies, right on a canal from the gulf. Aside from some damaged landscaping, life went on.
Nature happens everywhere, we're all going to die at some point.

I would love to do the WWII tour in Europe. Now all I have to do is save a gazillion dollars and free up a couple of weeks. Hopefully in July so I can catch a mountain top finish in the Tour de France. Knock off two bucket list items.

Mostly likely a dreadful sunset is looming.

1. Hurricanes. No thank you.
We have tornadoes, six of one half dozen the other. At least you know it's coming.

You are welcome. Care to tell us about your storied local political career as a member of the uni-party?
Nothing to tell. I have been approached about several positions all of which I have declined. As I have stated previously my time is valuable, and I despise meetings.

Be careful using the word 'any' IO: https://www.lp.org/elected-officials
Now are these mostly small town, local, political arenas? Of course they are. But a movement has to start somewhere, and after all government is more effective the more local it is.
Impressive list of movers and shakers, I stand corrected.

The Libertarian political party, of which I am not a member, is not part of the uni-party.
Nor are they a player in any political arena.

Yes, but I know of a number of large manufacturing facilities here in Indiana that run their operations, from factory floor to the administrative areas, on Windows servers.
That's just crazy, it'll never work!

They may suck at hardware, but this keyboard was a game changer for me. The most brilliant intuitive designed keyboard ever produced.
