  1. Yes because people will no doubt stop having sex 😂
  2. I’ll be honest my least favorite course. It would be neat to see though. I’m guess I’ll need to save that second gazillion for the extra couple of weeks stay and the trip to the French Rivera.
  3. Dude seriously, we're talking about Ft. Myers Beach, a pic of Mexico Beach, located in the Red Neck Riviera, Irma damage in the keys, and boat from the devastation of the Bahamas last fall...... My parents were in Ft. Myers when Charley came thru in 04, their place was about 6 miles from FMB by way the crow flies, right on a canal from the gulf. Aside from some damaged landscaping, life went on. Nature happens everywhere, we're all going to die at some point.
  4. I would love to do the WWII tour in Europe. Now all I have to do is save a gazillion dollars and free up a couple of weeks. Hopefully in July so I can catch a mountain top finish in the Tour de France. Knock off two bucket list items.
  5. I agree, looks dreadful! https://www.skylinewebcams.com/en/webcam/united-states/florida/fort-myers-beach/fort-myers-beach.html Mostly likely a dreadful sunset is looming.
  6. We have tornadoes, six of one half dozen the other. At least you know it's coming. Smoking hot new sheriff.
  7. Two places I would most like to live: 1. Fort Myers Beach, FL 2. Durant (Absaroka County), WY
  8. Nothing to tell. I have been approached about several positions all of which I have declined. As I have stated previously my time is valuable, and I despise meetings.
  9. Impressive list of movers and shakers, I stand corrected.
  10. Nor are they a player in any political arena.
  11. They may suck at hardware, but this keyboard was a game changer for me. The most brilliant intuitive designed keyboard ever produced.
  12. I did the Real ID, to be honest it was about the same thing I went thru when I got my learner's permit. I provided my DL, birth certificate, Indiana LTCH, and an REMC bill. I'm not sure what information they have about me that they didn't already have, aside from knowing what our electric bill was for the month.
  13. You're the one who made the argument if anyone wanted Windows they wouldn't be giving it away. Do you even read anything you post? And this forum is free! I would pay for this level of entertainment.
  14. Rumors of MS’s demise are greatly exaggerated. https://venturebeat.com/2019/07/18/microsoft-earnings-q4-2019/ Successful businesses evolve, diversify, and markets change. I never said MS had the gaming market cornered, they certainly have a profitable entry. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/microsoft-may-relinquishing-billions-android-patent-royalties-141047213.html This has been entertaining, but seriously you are arguing MS make products no one wants? Laughable. You look cute in your cheerleading skirt Barry.
  15. Apparently they didn’t discuss diversification in General Business. Microsoft made billions in royalties from Android sales. The 10 billion in revenues in 2018 from Xbox clearly indicate products that no one wants. Give away the operating system to sell them Office, or an online subscription to lightweight Office Suite products. OEM licenses, enterprise products.....you’re right DE, Bill Gates and the braintrust at MS are clearly idiots.
  16. I’m not a big fan of Brioche, and don’t really care about the French.
  17. I have been watching Greatest Events of WWII In Color on Netflix. It’s interesting, takes a pretty deep dive on some aspects of the war.
  18. Bernard Arnault was briefly the richest man in the world, displacing Jeff Bezos late last year. He's the head of LVMH, which is the umbrella for many high end brands, Louis Vitton, Tag Heuer, Moet, Christian Dior, Givenchy, etc. In other words built an empire on expensive crap that people don't need. He didn't build a better mousetrap, he built a mousetrap with hip and trendy logo on it. What does this actually tell us about the financial woes of the world? Bill Gates created a product that people wanted. He took the computer from the backroom with the geeks and put it in the living room for grandma and grandpa. Bill Gates is one of the wealthiest people in the world, he's also quite liberal. We've often heard him rail on the want for higher taxes and more social programs. But a couple of things bother me about this. Number one, why hasn't Bill Gates written a check to the US Treasury to pay more? I have no doubt Gates and MS for that matter have an entire battery of lawyers and accountants to in fact keep from paying any more in taxes than they absolutely have to. So why is it that one of the riches men in the world who often lobbies for higher taxes would act in this seemingly contradictory manner? To his credit he is a VERY charitable man, his foundation donates millions to worthy causes around the world. Why is this? It's quite simple, he, like so many understands if the money goes to the government it will be squandered. The vast majority of the money will be eaten up by the top heavy bloated bureaucracy. And what's left over, they'll screw it up. Why are successful people demonized rather than celebrated. I say good for them. VOC can complain about them all she wants, but these uber rich dudes/dudettes didn't get that way by accident, they've been hungry, they've been driven, and they've worked incredibly hard.
  19. This is the dirty little secret that the hacks in the mainstream media are COMPLETELY missing. The courts are being changed and that will be Trumps lasting legacy. He's appointing young and seemingly bright lawyers. https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/12/9/20962980/trump-supreme-court-federal-judges
  20. Contrary to popular belief, yield does NOT mean stop. Yes I agree, if you will impede a car already in the roundabout, you need to stop, i.e., yield to that vehicle.
