  1. Bigsky, I'm a little to nervous about the matchup to be making any predictions other than it is going to take a monumental effort and some breaks to go our way to win this one. We will have to play our best game of the year no question about that.
  2. We should be solid again. We lose some really big pieces in Boots, Ralph, McDurmon, Humphey, JT Mayer, Tyler Martin, Pierce Wolters but we return some talent too including our quarterback and running back who will be 3 year starters. We return 12 starters from what I add up in my head. We also have some sophomores who have contributed this year, including two that have started all year. We will need some kids to step up to try to replace some of these seniors but I'm looking forward to 2022, after we visit Lucas Oil this weekend.
  3. What does next year look like at Memorial? I think the conference might take a step back in 2022.
  4. Has anyone seen John Harrell predictions for this one? I assume MD is a slight favorite.
  5. I was there. The MD crowd was larger from my point of view and for sure louder, but what exactly did Triton Central fans have to cheer about after the opening kickoff?
  6. Wonder what kind of odds you could get on that? $1 would probably win you $5,000,000.
  7. I believe the 5:30 start time is to avoid late night travel. The start time or the weather did not appear to impact the MD crowd Friday night. I would say MD had a larger fan base at the game than Triton Central did. I'm not sure it was all that close either. I'm sure we will travel well again this week.
  8. This is a Scecina home game and from what I understand will be played at Beech Grove HS. Doesn't matter where the game is played. Gotta be ready to go when the whistle blows no matter where you are. Let's have a great week of prep and be ready to roll again.
  9. This is going to be a great game by two great teams. Best of luck and stay healthy for next week.
  10. Great game tonight by the Cats!! They were clicking on all cylinders tonight. Gotta keep this rolling into next weekend too. Scecina won't be a walk in the park
  11. Thanks TigerFan20! Good luck to the Memorial Tigers tomorrow afternoon.
  12. Yeah, I don't think Memorial is scared of anyone at this point. When you get success factored up and continue to win at a high level you aren't trying to avoid anyone. To be honest, I'm sure they would prefer to be in 3A and not have East Central and potentially Roncalli ahead of them.
  13. Good win last night by the Wildcats. We came out hot and really dominated all areas of the game. It was good to see a complete effort from MD. Things seem to be rolling the right direction. We will face another tough task in traveling to Triton Central for regional.
  14. Linton was very good. They were well coached, athletic, physical and aggressive. The field conditions were extremely poor in the second half and neither offense could really get going after half. I'm not sure the poor field conditions favored anyone. It just came down to who made the fewest mistakes and fortunately, last night that was Mater Dei. Congratulations on a great year Linton.
  15. Very well said MDAlum82. Quite frankly, I'm glad we don't recruit. My son probably wouldn't be on the field much at his size if we did.
  16. Name one player that Mater Dei has recruited. Name a player that came to Mater Dei from one of the city schools in Evansville that plays on this team. You can't do it because it didn't happen. There are people in this world who take shots at others who are successful to make themselves feel better. You appear to be one of those people.
  17. And he truly believes Forest Park is a legitimate threat. I don't believe he's making that up for a second.
  18. I agree, MD doesn't have any burners this year but there is decent speed on the team. McDurmon can run with just about anyone and there are a few others not far behind. I agree the offense has underperformed expectations and I'll also agree those were lofty but with what we had returning they should have been lofty. After 9 weeks, I don't think we know yet what kind of offense we want to be. Are we run first or pass first? We haven't developed an identity. Maybe we get things going now. It seemed like last year things kind of took off from here.
  19. I don't know that MD wins comfortably. I would like to hope that is correct but I don't believe Linton won't put up a fight. I think they've probably had this on their calendar for a long time after the game last year at their place.
  20. well, kinda joking I'll take Memorial by 42 after the loss to Castle Boonville isn't beating Reitz Jasper by 30 Lincoln will win Bosse covers and so does Mater Dei
