Agree....seems as if there are two teaching moments resulting from this play. -

Yes we have. Happens too often in too many sports IMHO to be coincidental. Just like some of the sectional draws. (Queue Coach Nowlin to tell me I'm a conspiracy theorist) -

I can agree with that....the whole thing with going hours east to west....been debated here already but there is no sound logic. -

When I slowed down the video...the hit was actually inbounds...but it was a targeted shot to the head. If he gets lower and comes in with the shoulder he could have gotten in a great hit that was legal. -

I have no idea if the QB can play this week or not....at the time it didn't look good. They "could" also be without their best DL (#93) & #2 WR....both left the game with injuries. I don't think #1 can play due to the ejection. -

Without question. To what degree is debatable. I do feel it has helped the most in keeping people home. -

Gibson Southern left the PAC in 1979 when the Big Eight Conference was formed.....perhaps driven by Coach Jewell's success and the promise of a highly competitive conference... then dropping enrollment (well down into 2A) drove the move back in 1994 only made worse by the loss of the Emge packing plant in 1999 (400 layoffs). I wasn't in the fold in those days but I am sure there were real or perceived competitive reasons as well. -
