  1. We use digital scout for stats "I think". We use skycoach with an IPAD for film (I have done the filming on a few occasions) it is uploaded to HUDL. The stats are uploaded to Maxpreps but I don't think they are uploaded to HUDL.
  2. My guess is you know nothing about the dynamics of where coach has worked or the kid's lives he has changed. This comment was a total D!ck move. Congrats. So you think exposure events are a waste of time, that's fair, but the comment above was clearly intended to throw unnecessary shade at a good dude.
  3. On a related note I would like to see the elusive defensive holding call made more often. DBs hold a lot down here and get away with it, I'm not sure if that is an issue all over the state or not.
  4. In a couple counties in Southwest Indiana it is legal to jump on the back of the receiver and use a horse whip on him as long as the ball isn't in the air.
  5. I had a coach in 1988 ask a fellow teammate, "how could anyone be so stupid and live so long"?
  6. Agree....there are always kids who for no other reason than attending one of these camps gets a shot at "next level" football. I have volunteered my time at a few of these and it's pretty rewarding personally.
  7. 3ft now in our school also which has allowed us to go from a Hybrid schedule to everyone in the building. So far so good.
  8. @ClubMemorial - So what happened with the out of state transfer? (not that he is needed at all)
  9. Anything could happen but it looks like most are scheduling their summer stuff as normal.
  10. If you're going to burn a competition day....get more than one team there!
  11. Any interesting matchups at team camps this summer?
  12. Any word on where any of the SIAC teams will be going for summer team camps?
  13. For schools that utilize the skycoach sideline system (as Gibson Southern does) I highly recommend the "Legacy 27", for programs serious about excellence. The Legacy Advanced is the #1 Seller for End Zone Camera systems on the market today! The Legacy will give your camera an “aerial” perspective from 27 FT in the air. The risers are made of sturdy carbon fiber tubes with large latches to make setup quick. Reach above the crowds at events, concerts and sports activities. The only difference between this tower and the Legacy Basic is the type of camera you receive. SYSTEM INCLUDES: Waterproof Travel Case 7″ LCD with 6 hr battery Motorize Pan Tilt All-in-One Controller Canon HD Camera Rain Gear 27 FT Carbon Fiber Tri-Pod Collar & Arm for Monitor mount 3 Sandbags FEATURES: Made of sturdy, light-weight carbon fiber tubes 27 FT tall for “aerial-style” perspectives Easy latches make setup quick
  14. We play a full freshman schedule. Sometimes teams will ask if they can have a couple sophomores...but that doesn't happen often. I NEVER hear the word "C team" in Southwest Indiana.
  15. My Junior and Senior years, both sectional games in the Reitz Bowl (aka mud bowl). We had the game won in 88 and blew it, it 87 we got our butts beat. I was the GS fullback in 87 and tailback in 88.
  16. Prayers for the family and friends of Coach Will. As a player I played against him in 87 and 88.
  17. I have seen that track guy that runs sprinter type kids to the point they can't put on any weight. Huge concern for me.
  18. Thank you. So playing a bit of devils advocate here, it really only works (or at least works best) when the football coach is the track coach?
  19. How is track helping Center Grove in football specifically? I would like to hear more on that topic in detail.
  20. Don't get me wrong I ...LOVE basketball. I have a kid who is pretty good at it right now....but it's not number 1 in our state in my view.
  21. A few Cambridge kids attend/have attended Gibson Southern. edit...just as a FYI...I know they aren't districted to do that.
