  1. July 11th, 2021: “I think they go 9-3 Losses: OSU, Penn State, 1 of Cincy/Iowa.”
  2. You should be happy with bowl eligibility ANY year.
  3. 247 seems to believe my assessment regarding each team’s ceiling is fairly accurate. Thoughts?
  4. So somewhere in the middle of where @HHF and @jets are projecting? Got it.
  5. ANY steps? Come on. It's common sense. You don't just replace a generational talent at the most important position in sports and not skip a beat. No doubt they will be solid again but if you are expecting a carbon copy of 2021, prepare for disappointment.
  6. “17 D1 players.”
  7. Man we are agreeing way too much lately.
  8. Experience matters.
  9. Time to put up or shut up then. No excuse for them to not be at Lucas Oil annually now that they are 5A.
  10. Some truth, sure. But not with the high level of confidence he displayed. Westfield and Brownsburg aren’t going anywhere.
  11. That 28-0 (along with other things) has also made them the most desirable transfer destination in the state. They won’t be on par with the past two seasons, but they’ll be right there at the end.
  12. 6A co favorites: Cathedral/Center Grove Far too many people doubting the two time defending champs. Talent advantage: Cathedral Coaching Advantage: Center Grove Yeah, I said it…
  13. The “101” gave you away. Definitely an entry level poster.
  14. Let’s just call it what it is… Purdue’s ceiling is a bit higher than IU’s simply by playing in the Big Ten West. The Boilers should be disappointed with anything less than 7 wins annually if they follow The Temp’s fool proof non conference scheduling strategy. The Hoosiers should be thrilled anytime they get to 6 and as long as they also subscribe to the Temp’s plan, that is attainable. Both programs might have a lucky year here or there and will also have a year where they catch no breaks but it’s pretty straightforward to me.
  15. They’ve been “Allen County good” for sometime now but I think last year proved that the new hires at Fishers/HSE didn’t really get a fair shot during the Covid pandemic and I think both of those programs are on the rise. It’ll be a tough road for the Spartans.
  16. Still waiting on Homestead. Been hearing for far too long they are on the cusp.
  17. Still boring to me unless someone else breaks through. I’ll place my money on 6 of the final 8 teams remaining being within a 20 minute drive of monument circle…until proven otherwise.
  18. And then they all transferred, lol.
  19. Yes, if you break most teachers’ contract hours down into an hourly wage, it’s more than competitive relative to the median income of the average American. All careers have those “extras” they are piling on top so very few actually only “work” their contract hours. Now, if you add in coaching stipends and break those down in the same fashion, you’ll be extremely depressed.
  20. My exact first two takeaways…
  21. Need folks’ thoughts on this graphic.
