Oh I agree but I think that it is a bit shortsighted to claim that rushing is more impressive than passing. A lot more can go wrong when passing and better decision making is paramount.

Eh, I have to disagree. Rodgers' numbers combined with the top overall record in the league is damn hard to ignore. Broader question, why is running more impressive than passing?

2003 - the top 5 recruits according to 247 sports were from outside of Indy 2005 - three of the top 5 (including #1) from outside of Indy 2006 - top 3 recruits from outside of Indy I could keep going but has scouting really come “that far” since 2002? Did scouts use to not visit non-metropolitan areas? Just stop it.

So, congrats to Luers on their annual division championship? Feels very Big Ten East/West to me. But no, in all honesty if it opens up the schedule to play some different teams outside of the area, it’s a good thing in my opinion. -
Or is it? Sometimes guys just peak later or get into a perfect fit at the next level.

True but I’d rather a G5 be GUARANTEED a spot. Showings like Cincinnati had this year will punish future G5’s in favor of 3 SEC teams which would make me vomit.

I don't get it. In an 8 team scenario, you could have at-large bids from 2 different conferences so the second place (and in some cases maybe even the third place team in a really dominant year) can get an opportunity. 5 power 5 champs. 1 group of 5. 2 at-large.
