  1. There is an article on the South Bend Tribune facebook page about the situation
  2. Minors and handled differently by the law I would assume
  3. With two weeks to heal and prepare you never know what to expect. Maybe a few wrinkles and surprises. Penn playing at home is tough. It would be a great game to see. Would have been a titanic sectional championship
  4. Not much being said about some key games this weekend
  5. The link is out there and it is around social media
  6. Homestead 2 closest games were Snider and North where they won by 7 and 8 The rest they had little trouble Penn playing Cathedral and St X. besides Elkhart they have faced some good competition as well Would love to see this game That 6a SECTIONAL IS one of the best this year

Friday, Oct. 28 Carroll (9-0) at Penn (7-2), 7:30 pm Elkhart (7-2) at Warsaw (7-2), 7 pm Adams (1-8) at Mishawaka (8-1), 7 pm New Prairie (9-1) at Lowell (7-3), 8 pm NP won regular season game NorthWood (10-) at St. Joseph (4-6), 7 pm Jimtown (8-2) at Glenn (6-4), 7 pm Jimtown won regular season game Bremen (6-4) at Lake Station (4-6), 7:30 pm The two 6A games should be great games. A couple of rematches. Another interesting week
  8. I had thought about that awhile back. But finding teams to plsy then could be tough
  9. Not surprising by who they played. Should Clay consolidate in football?
  10. At the half St Joe 33 Plymouth 7
  11. The won the South Bend city title beating the 4 public schools in town. Playing bigger schools helps a 3 A team in my mind in the tournament. They also play Northwood and Concord. They do not seem to shy away from competition. I would say they are legit going in. How far? That is the question.
  12. Friday, Oct. 21 Kankakee Valley (4-5) at New Prairie (8-1) , 8 pm Northridge (5-4) at Riley (5-4), 7 pm NorthWood (9-0) at Washington (2-7), 7 pm St. Joseph (3-6) at Plymouth (0-9), 7 pm Marian (2-7) at West Noble (7-2), 7 pm Clay (0-9) at Jimtown (7-2), 7 pm Fairfield (5-4) at Glenn (5-4), 7 pm Wheeler (3-6) at Bremen (5-4), 7:30 pm While 5A and 6A have the week off, the rest of the N.I.C. teams will be in action this Friday night in the first round of the sectional. It's a new season.
  13. St Joe wins the Holy War in Overtime. 1st time game ever went to OT. An entertaining game
  14. This is a titanic battle. Appears to be several in the state
  15. St Joe has a new staff and kids getting used to a new routine Adams got a late start due to a late coaching change due to a job change Marian had a lot of seniors last year -
  16. Friday, Oct. 14 Bremen at Clay ©, 7 pm Elkhart at New Prairie ©, 7:30 pm Penn at Adams ©, 7 pm Riley at Jimtown ©, 7 pm St. Joseph at Marian ©, 7 pm Washington at Glenn ©, 7 pm The Holy war 2022- having seen every game since 1967 I do not recall when both teams came into the game with a losing record. Each team is 2-6. Could be the makings of a fun game.
  17. I would imagine Penn would focus on the QB and RB May boil down to how NP handles the Penn D
  18. When you play good teams many times it is the unexpected that help carry the team on if their key components were shut down. It will be very interesting tonight
  19. Having seen both NP and Penn they both have weapons. I think Penn hits harder on defense especially a couple of their linebackers. I could see this game going either way. Penn may have more offensive weapons
  20. Benet Academy is 3-3 in the tough Chicagoland Catholic league. The lost to Noblesville 21-13 in week 2. Just a fyi. I also like the running back, is it Williams? He has more quickness while Balis has the power
  21. Friday, Oct. 7 Benet Academy (Ill.) at St. Joseph, 7:30 pm Jimtown at Adams, 7 pm Glenn at Clay ©, 7 pm Marian at Elkhart ©, 7 pm New Prairie at Penn ©, 7:30 pm Riley at Bremen ©, 7 pm Washington at Bowman, 8 pm Here are the games for week 8. The big one is Penn at New Prairie. Jimtown at Adams could be an interesting match-up
  22. It would be a smaller high school just for those who want to study the arts. I highly doubt it would include athletics. The early report shows about 475 kids
