Freeman and Irish took a recruiting beat down. Losing Keely, Edwards, Moore, and now Peyton Bowen #1 to who knows
-
-
Kiser is also second on the team in tackles (52). He has 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 blocked punt Almost forgot he did the above while playing the 15th most snaps of any defensive player for ND 🤷♂️
-
He also led ND current senior class in career scoring. Dont quote me but I believe as for NIL he has deal with Under-Armor and a few others with his academics looks like he should be ok with life after football.

2A: Andrean vs Mater Dei
RingLeader replied to temptation's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Certainly didnt hurt his performance week before with 358 yds I thought MD defense was fantastic. They had a plan to slow Bowen and executed it. To claim injury is a little slap to MD. I watched Andrean a number of times and while very good team I thought they were better last year and year prior. Congrats to them on getting back as its never easy to do also MD QB is really good -

#12 for Chatard was the difference. Outstanding on both sides of ball Can’t remember that guy’s name…🤪 -
I like Lance knows what he’s talking about play by play guy “boy theyve found something they like on that right side” Lance “that’s where their best linemen are”

The way he has played I dont think MD wants that Andrean less than 100 yds O -

Not a fan I could see targeting being called i could also see what the refs called Either way pretty dumb play by Bowen imo. -

Just curious, but what happened to Minerpride? Missed his detailed pregame assessments of both teams. I don’t see him in this thread and hope he is ok

Can the FB’s control the game in the cold temps. Both teams have good FB but NJ 235 lb guy may be bigger factor as a night of tackling him in the cold could take its toll. How many triple option teams has AC faced? How many wing-t teams has NJ faced? -

Would AC be unbeaten playing NJ schedule? I say doubtful 3A Knox NJ shutout 26-0 and Knox won a 3A sectional 2A Laville had to rally in fourth to tie game and won in OT to beat NJ Laville went toe to toe with Drayk Bowen and Andrean for 3 1/2 q without their star QB NJ returned nearly everyone and are year older. I like the Bluejays to pull it off at home. Think last year was a bit of happy to be there time for NJ. AC had taken beatings from Pioneer and LCC last few times at SS level and were focused and ready to get job done. Yes it helps coaching staffs about as much as players to get that experience😉 Jays 21 AC 20 -
C’mon where ya hidin? You know you’re itchin to talk trash AC avg 46 per givin 10 per NJ avg 46 per givin 8 per Dead heat on paper. Both teams like to run it and run it some more, so may come down to who can pass more effectively.

Instant Replay for the Finals?
RingLeader replied to Bobref's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
If its available use it. Period I think refs with lesser egos would for sure be for it. Why not? Takes the blame off them. Bottom line get it right if you can. What’s the harm -

Panties bunched. Settle down AC It’s perfectly fine if you’re not as good as last season, I don’t think you necessarily have to be to win the north. NJ is kind of a crackerjack squad, you never know what you’re gonna get. As a great coach used to say “I’m perfectly fine being known as the worst State Champs of all time” -

Have to be honest here I have really not been terribly impressed by any of the teams in the north. Judson might be the best team I’ve seen but if you can slow their running game their kicking and passing games can be pretty suspect. AC has the Qb but still think they are a pretty far cry from last year’s version. Park Tudor and Carroll are pretenders. Sheridan too sectional and schedule just doesn’t get me all fuzzy. Lutheran is clearly head and shoulders above everyone else. in the immortal words of Larry Bird in locker room to other contenders at 3-pt contest “who’s getting second”
