Do they have the numbers to do a 2 platoon system? Or is it the talent that doesn’t let that happen?

I have see him multiple times not a bad defender but not a D1 defender either. He is a excellent shooter but doesn’t move without the ball and can’t get himself open.

I agree, with the size and talent that Ole Miss has they should be running through the CIC.

It’s awesome to see all these names and how much High School talent Indiana has had over the years.

Eastbrook wins easily and looks forward to the sectional. Really the only team in the CIC that had a chance to win a sectional is Eastbrook, with only one team in their way and that’s Tipton. I know Eastern is having a good year but when they start playing quality teams I will start considering them. Im sorry Ole Miss but there is a VERY slight chance you win that sectional. Hopefully you don’t draw Marion or Delta first round so maybe you can win a game. Heard a rumor the other day that funk was looking to leave? Any news on that from Gas City? Frankton is getting ready for basketball Alexandria is getting ready for baseball Blackford is ready to get on the Luke Brown, Kid can shoot the ball, but to slow to play D1 Oak Hill, Elwood, and MG, not much to look forward to.

Totally agree have to take it game by game especially with how many sophomores and juniors we play.

its a little boring knowing that Eastbrook has pretty much wrapped up the CIC title. Even though at the begging of the season @Scottish_Warrior had Eastbrook finishing 4th (smdh). I guess this is one of the games he thought Eastbrook would lose.

I remember when Eastbrook(when we were 3A) and WL would play each other in the tournament, they were very good back then (around 2008) if i remember right the QB at the time won Mr. Football. Its nice to see teams keep the winning going as players graduate and new players filled in. Glad we are back down to 2A 🙂, very excited for the postseason to start. Cass is the real deal. They were the real deal last year, took us giving our best effort to barely beat them at home.

Alex @ Eastbrook- Alex can put up some points, and toss the ball all over the field. Will definitely test Eastbrooks young defense. Eastbrook by 21 Blackford @ Elwood- Blackford by a lot. Even though they will be looking ahead for the next week when Eastbrook makes the short trip to Blackford county. Frankton @ Ole Miss- Ole Miss by a lot. MG @ OH- Wouldn’t be surprised if this is a close game but I think OH pulls away and wins by 3 or more scores.

Ole Miss sectional is TOUGH! Eastbrook doesn't have a cake walk either. Eastern is improved and playing really good, Tipton is young but still Tipton so they wont be a easy out, Lapel can throw the ball all around the field so that always scares us Panther fans.

Just to start some conversation, who will be the biggest threat to Eastbrook the rest of the regular season? Alexandria, because the way they can throw the ball? or Blackford, by eating up clock and keeping the ball away from Eastbrook?

Very interested in the Blackford-Alexandria game. Winner could be playing for a share of the CIC. Don’t really know much about either team. I do know that this Alexandria senior class beat Eastbrooks senior class in junior high, both 7th and 8th grade.

Thanks for all the input @olinecoach, @XStar, and @bittergymteacher. Totally agree with you about Cass, they have some stud play makers. Then the Bombers go and beat Western, Will be very interesting to see what happens in 2A North come playoff time. Heck their is a chance Eastbrook doesn't make it out of their sectional with Tipton in it.

After the Ole Miss and Eastbrook game would you say Eastbrook is that good or Ole Miss isn’t? Are Marion and Delta the real deal?

Hahahahaha Eastbrook is the 4th best team in the conference lol EASTBROOK 21 OLE MISS 14! Hell of a game.

Not going to here much from me, i thin Ole Miss is the real deal and beats us by 2TDs.... Now when @Scottish_Warrior says Eastbrook is the 4th best team in the CIC (SMDH) then i will start trash talking.

Finally starting CIC play! Alexandria at Frankton- From what i have been hearing Alexandria should win this one, don't know much about either team. Blackford at Oak Hill- Interested in this game, i thought going into the season Blackford would beat OH easily, but on John Harrell they have the eagles winning. Elwood at Mississinewa- Ole Miss by however many they want to. Madison-Grant at Eastbrook- Can Eastbrook finally win a game? or does MG put 4 quarters together and leave Eastbrook with the win and some Ivanhoes on the way home?
