  1. Of course they did!!! Trust me, there will be a lot more Indiana fans than Miami fans
  2. No, why would it? There is not a rivalry with Notre Dame as they don’t play enough. When/if we beat Miami, this will go down as the greatest season in college football history
  3. Irish would have been steamrolled like everyone else 23… Total and complete ass whipping
  4. 2-3 years from now, the NCAA as we know it will be gone. I look forward to the Power 4 to establish and regulate itself, with or without the NCAA. Right now, it is the Wild West as there is zero regulation
  5. Indiana is not unbeatable, but it is going to take a special effort to beat the Hoosiers this year. Penn State was a good team with lots of 4-5 star players. Once they got the ship righted after a rocky period, they were playing very good football. Iowa was an underrated team that would have been a top 3 team in the SEC. Ohio State is Ohio State.
  6. Based on what? Certainly not results on the field where they failed going 0-2 vs. top 10 teams and CFP teams. I got Indiana at minimum a 7-8 point favorite vs. Notre Dame this year based on results. There isn’t any team in the country with a better resume than the Hoosiers. There is zero dispute in that.
  7. Possible, but unlikely. Saying they could have won it all is clearly not based on what they did on the field or who they beat. It’s based on what you believe their potential was, which is completely an intangible. It’s not based on fact. I do always respect your opinion, but there have to be results on the field and the Irish failed to produce them
  8. We are all just fans, frankly, the whining came from Irish fans such as yourself when you didn’t make the CFP. See the writing on the wall.
  9. Ok, the Irish best win was USC, who is not even in the top 15, much less the top 10. Two opportunities to beat top 10 teams, two losses. Yes, they rebounded to end the year, but really beat the weak sisters of the poor. I would concede maybe #8, but Georgia and A&M are ahead of you. Head to head means something, especially when A&M beat you in South Bend
  10. Way to straddle the fence 23. The best move for ND is to join the Big 10. SOS will be strong, they can still schedule Navy, and if they can go 10-2 or better, guaranteed they will be in the CFP. Win win all the way around
  11. Very well thought out post. Lots of information and substance to back it up. I 100% agree with you and I am not a Notre Dame fan. Big 10, by far, is the best fit, both by competition and geography. Excellent rivalries with Michigan, Ohio State, USC, and Indiana along with Penn State. 10-2, maybe even 9-3 when the CFP field expands to 16 soon, will get the Irish in.
  12. In the NIL and Cignetti world of college football, Indiana is here to play
  13. Gotta say, some media are throwing Cignetti as a possible NFL head coach. They say he is the hottest candidate out there. Personally, I don’t see it happening.
  14. I agree, 2024 version of the Irish were better than 2025
  15. I got A&M and Ohio State ahead of the Irish so 9th at best
  16. Dimwit Finebaum knows absolutely jack crap about college football. He hangs on the nutsack of the SEC and always will
  17. Hard to say that when IU is 25-2 with Cig and hasn’t lost a home game yet. IU is better this year than last year, but they were still pretty good last year
  18. Just stop. Had that game been in Bloomington as it should have been, the Irish go home with a loss. As it is, IU moves on to the CFP semifinals while the Irish while the Irish eat their pop tarts…
  19. It will be tougher, but this Hoosier team is special. Honestly, I got IU by double digits again. It will be closer than Alabama, but Indiana is better offensively and defensively than Oregon. As always, turnovers are key, but I see this as a 35-17 Indiana win. Take away the pick 6 and the Ducks scored 13 points against IU the first time on their home field.
  20. Ok, without the pick 6, Ohio State wins that game, but you’re right. I have been riding the Hoosiers all year
  21. Dude, I told you IU would win rather easily. Indiana is really freaking good. Making Bama look like a lower tier D3 team. Took their heart and stomped it
  22. Indiana 38 - Alabama 3, Hoosiers taking no prisoners and making the Tide look like a D3 team. Just stomped on their heart. Ten minutes to go in 4th quarter
  23. Indiana 31 - Alabama 3, early 4th quarter, that’s how you finish a team. IU took their hearts in the 3rd quarter
  24. Indiana 17 - Alabama 0 at halftime. Very solid half by the Hoosiers. Need to put the dagger in the Tide in the 2nd half
  25. Indiana 10, Alabama 0, ten minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. Two great drives. LFG!!!
