  1. Don’t agree but that is fine. Snider move the ball much better against Elkhart than they did Warren or Carroll. Elkhart played 2 good teams all year until last night in Penn and Concord, rest were not good. Imagine Snider or Carroll or Warren playing Elkhart’s schedule, the defensive numbers for those teams would be insane
  2. Yeah, when it got to 32-21 I thought South Adams had a chance and they pulled it out. Once Snider took the lead on the first play of the 4th quarter, game was over unless Elkhart scored a defensive touchdown. I was that convinced that they weren’t scoring on the Snider defense.
  3. Slight nod to Warren??!! Cmon man!!! Warren, Snider, and Carroll all have better defenses than Elkhart, no disrespect to Elkhart. The defensive line for Elkhart is really good, the rest of the defense not so much
  4. I just watched the ending of the game, HSE converted a 4th and 2 with 3 minutes to go to hold onto the 20-14 win. A fair statement would be HSE controlled the first 3 quarters to get a 17-0 lead and then held on for dear life in the 4th quarter as Sparty dominated in the last quarter. Stats do tell a story, but I am betting the coach of HSE was sweating bullets at the end of the game…
  5. I am all about having a balanced offense, but not this year. Snider is just not capable of throwing the football. Read into that what you want. I am trying to be respectful towards the players, but if you can see you know what I am saying. Only chance Snider has against Carroll is a 10-7 type of game, maybe get a defensive touchdown.
  6. I just didn’t see how Elkhart was going to beat Snider. Their offense is worse than ours and I didn’t see them scoring much on Snider unless they got a defensive touchdown.
  7. I stand by that statement, but mean no disrespect to Elkhart at all. Snider should have had 24 points in this game, an inexplicable fumble on the one yard line late in the game and a missed field goal. Yeah, I know we had a defensive TD as well. Elkhart’s defensive line was almost on par with Warren Central, they were dominant, but that secondary and even linebacking core were beatable. Carroll completely shut down Snider when they played several weeks ago, 30-6. Snider moved the ball much better against Elkhart than they did Carroll. We won’t even talk about what Warren did to Snider’s offense. Bottom line, Elkhart’s defense was very good, offense not so much. Ranking the defenses Snider played this year I had Warren Central, Carroll, and Elkhart in that order. Much respect to all 3 teams!!!

  16. I see Snider winning somewhere around 24 -10 type of game. I really think that Snider will be the best defense Elkhart has seen all year while Snider has seen Warren Central and Carroll defenses that are head and shoulders better than Elkhart. Just like most games, turnovers could be the equalizer for Elkhart. I think Elkhart has to get a defensive touchdown and have at least 3 Snider turnovers as well to win, which could be possible. I watched video on Elkhart and they seem to be susceptible to a good passing team, unfortunately Snider is not that so this could be lower scoring than 24-10. I struggle to see how Elkhart is going to move the ball on Snider. You had a first hand view of Elkhart when they played Penn and I watched quite a bit of video of that game, what are your thoughts?
  17. Ben Davis 35 - Pike 21 Center Grove 42 - Jeffersonville 14 Cathedral 49 - North Central 0 Lawrence North 42 - Lawrence Central 21 Warren Central 49 - Tech 0
  18. Brownsburg 42 -Avon 14 - The road to redemption starts here. If not this year, when? Zionsville 28 - Carmel 17 - I agree with Temp, changes are coming for Carmel Fishers 35 - Noblesville 14 - Maybe Fishers is about to go in a run Franklin Central 27 - Columbus North 21 - Calling for the upset here HSE 42 - Sparty 7 - Sparty sees it’s season end early again Westfield 35 - Harrison 7 - Big win to maybe start a state title run?
  19. Snider has excellent speed at receiver and all over the defense so while you may say that running back speed isn’t great, team speed is certainly in Snider’s favor against Elkhart. We shall see
  20. Not really, people want to jump in and protect QB Jackson for what? His bad play? Look, I want IU to win as much anyone and have waited 50+ years for it, but Jackson ain’t that guy. Anyone that watches football knows it. If IU was their usual bottom dweller self, nobody would care if Jackson was bad, but these are new days for IU. Rourke is legit, can read a defense, and makes good decisions with the football. IU better hope that Rourke stays healthy or else that train is stuck
  21. I see you ignored my statement in regards to your support of Center Grove and your bias thereof. Use Cig’s famous quote of google me and watch his multiple interviews following the Washington game including his on field interview with the Big 10 network and his press conference and then tell me what he said. As far as the 5th start baloney, who cares? My original statement has nothing to do with that. Like many others, the trepidation of Jackson having to play for a top 10, Hell, top 5 team in the country is a worst case scenario for the Hoosiers.
  22. You are watching something different than I did. Very clear what he said
  23. Ok, Snider doesn’t have the speed to beat Elkhart? Pretty sure it won’t be a lack of speed for the Panthers should they lose this game. Guess I want to know what games you have seen from both teams to make that analysis
  24. Not an unfair or inaccurate statement at all. You make your claim with a bias towards Jackson as he was a Center Grove player and that is your team. I make my statement based on facts. Jackson was not good last year, period. He did not look good on Saturday either. Cignetti in the postgame interview said it as well. When asked why IU only threw the ball 5 times in the 2nd half, he said poor QB play was the culprit. My statement was that Jackson is not a top ten team QB and I stand on that. Don’t want it to be true at all, but facts are facts. IU goes as far as Rourke takes them. As far as next year, Cignetti will be beating the bushes for another QB1.
