  1. Warsaw turning the ball over 5 times was really bad and was the difference in the game. DC was exactly who I thought they were and they did take advantage of Warsaw’s generosity.
  2. Look at IU, they corrected their issue with a brilliant hire and using the transfer portal. The jury is still out if this is sustainable for IU, but their coach is dynamic and he gets complete buy in by the players. I just believe Purdue is in a far worse position than IU was before Cignetti. You bring up Cal, beautiful weather, beautiful campus, I am going there long before I would consider Purdue. Big 10 is a brutal conference to play in when you have no players and you are going to get your ass handed to you weekly. They have to nail it with their new hire and hope that Coach can change the culture overnight
  3. Funny thing is I don’t bet even though I probably should. When I dont have a rooting interest, I do pretty well
  4. By far, the worst team this year, but, in reality, I really believe it is the worst job in the Power 4 conferences. The cupboard is completely empty, the crappy players they do have are exiting quickly, the lack of effort given all year was abysmal, and the administration just plain sucks. I thought Hope and Hazell years were the bottom of the ladder, but those were great years compared to this.
  5. Every one of those teams are better than Purdue. Why bring up NIL? It has done nothing for Purdue up to this point. Some of the teams you list are going to bowl games.
  6. Tell me a worse program. Usually, you could say Vanderbilt or Northwestern but that is not true anymore. Look at the bottom of all the power 5 conferences and show me one program worse…
  7. I would say most of my predictions are accurate, but I for sure missed on some to.
  8. Not really sure who will want to come to Purdue at this point. I think it is the worst job out of all the power 5 conferences. They are either going to get another inexperienced head coach, which I think they will avoid, or they will get a recycled head coach looking for one final chance.
  9. Walter’s looked clueless every time they showed him on tv against IU. Totally has lost his team…
  10. Dude, big difference, Purdue quit in the 2nd quarter, kept turning the ball over deep in their own territory, and couldn’t tackle for crap. Indiana played until the end against Ohio State. Day got his just due against Michigan yesterday…
  11. Man, the shame Purdue fans must feel today is palpable. IU fan here, but my daughter and son in law both went to Purdue so I have some empathy. When a team quits, the coach has to go. It’s either that or you get rid of 85 scholarship players like Coach Prime attempted to do at Colorado. Just hideous
  12. IU completely dominated Purdue to the point that Purdue quit in the 2nd quarter. That is an indictment of a team that has no fight or will to compete. When that happens, the coach has to go. Inept does not begin to describe the Purdue offense…
  13. Purdue is absolute trash. Complete embarrassment if you are a Purdue fan. No way that coach survives this
  14. You would avoid this happening if you just bought a case of the refs favorite beer…
  15. I knew that, but had to say it just the same
  16. Adams Central laying the hammer down so far, 32-6. So much for Rodney’s prediction earlier in the year that the South would sweep the North
  17. Go back and read the thread, HH fans have been a tad overzealous about their greatness from the very beginning. Hell, I thought for awhile they were preparing to win the Super Bowl…
  18. Ok now, thanks for sounding like Coach Prime…
  19. What’s hilarious is that this year’s Luers team might be the least talented team they have sent to a state title game. From all accounts, there are some really good players in the pipeline over the next few years
  20. 6A Brownsburg 5A Warsaw 4A East Noble 3A Bishop Luers 2A Adams Central 1A North Judson
  21. Warsaw is on a roll, I just don’t see Decatur Central stopping them. Warsaw 31 - Decatur Central 21
  22. So you mean to tell me that a college running back who is 20 years old has class and goes down on his own yet a 45 years old adult who runs the team has no class? Let me be clear, college players are now pro players as they are paid, but there needs to be class at all levels. I damn sure don’t see an NFL team in that exact scenario pulling that crap. Day is just a baby who likes to bully when he can but dives into a baby carriage when it is done to him
  23. So his running back, who apparently has some class to him, slid to the ground on his own yet Day decides to run another play after that to score the TD. What does that say about his RB? What does that say about Day? Two very different scenarios
