  1. Sure, they have played Snider tough the last couple years and I have repeatedly said the winner of Snider vs. North Side has an excellent shot of playing for a state title. I believe, from the games I have seen this year, that Snider is the better overall team. North certainly has some excellent, highly recruited players that are tough to stop, but I trust Snider’s defense more than I trust North Side’s defense. As everyone says, both teams need to take care of business this week before worrying about a potential matchup.
  2. Ok, again Snider beat North Side the first time, North Side struggled with Homestead and Luers, both team Snider hammered, and got drilled by Carroll who Snider played close without their RB1. Dwenger is not even close to the team they had last year when they split with Snider
  3. Last year with Dwenger the talent was pretty close, not this year. The game is won in the trenches and Snider absolutely dominated the Saints in the first meeting. Throw in the fact that Snider has more speed and the passing game is far superior to Dwenger and I see the same result as the first game. As far as North Side goes, Snider has superior depth compared to North Side and I think that will wear down North Side in the 4th quarter, but we shall see.
  4. Carroll 24 - Penn 14 - Chargers are really good this year, maybe their best team ever, and are a well rounded team. Penn has had my respect for years and it looks like they have had a good year. Just think it is Carroll’s time Fishers 56 - Northrop 6 - Nuff said HSE 49 - Homestead 14 - Sparty will get thrashed in this game, not enough horses to hang with Fishers North Side 56 - Anderson 13 - Nuff said Snider 35 - Dwenger 14 - Repeat of the first game won by Snider 28-0, I just don’t see how the Saints stop the Panthers offensively and really not sure how Dwenger is going to move the ball. The line play was very lopsided the first time and I don’t see that changing Leo 28 - East Noble 21 - Close game Columbia City 49 - Dekalb 7 - Eagles take out some frustration on the Barons after a close call last week against Wayne Mississinewa 48 - Huntington North 15 - Blowout city Norwell 35 - Concordia 14 - Norwell is a very good team, Cadets will keep it close for a bit, but will lose big Yorktown 56 - Garrett 7 - Nuff said Luers 42 - Busco 20 - Too much speed for Busco to handle Eastside 42 - Manchester 0 - Ugly Bluffton 21 - Tipton 20 - Missed extra point costs Tipton Adams Central 42 - South Adams 14 - Jets are on their way to state
  5. Snider will beat Dwenger and setup a showdown with North Side. All things being equal, Snider is better than North Side overall, but North Side is very good.
  6. I fully expect Luers to beat Eastside… Just saying… Overlook Luers at your own peril
  7. What other high school sports is in Indiana? None…
  8. Watching IU football is like watching paint dry. It’s also like Groundhog Day over and over and over again…
  9. Was going to say the same thing… Thought Merrillville had 30 D1 starters…
  10. What you fail to point out is that EVERY sport in Indiana qualifies for the playoffs, volleyball, basketball, football, softball, cross country, tennis, etc… Yet, you want football to be different because that is what you want… Makes perfect sense…😂
  11. The teams were much closer in talent last year, that is not the case this year. Dwenger lost QB Campbell weeks ago and the new guy can’t throw the ball. Snider stacked the box in the first meeting, daring them to throw. Unless the new QB can throw the ball much better this time, the margin of victory will be larger this time. Also, the line of scrimmage was dominated by Snider and I don’t believe that will change either
  12. Dwenger doesn’t have the team to beat Snider this year. North Side does.
  13. Snider 45 - Luers 7 North Side 34 - Concordia 14 Carroll 17 - Wayne 8 Norwell 24 - Columbia City 12
  14. Snider 17 - Luers 7 North Side 21 - Concordia 7 Homestead 28 - South Side 0 Wayne 8 - Carroll 7 Norwell 14 - Columbia City 3
  15. Snider 14 - Luers 7
  16. Homestead 21 - South Side 0 North Side 21 - Concordia 0 Snider 14 - Luers 0
  17. Everyone prepares for the postseason, especially coaches. Every coach wants to peak in the postseason, not game 4. It really is not that hard to understand… Even coaches have commented in this thread to point out how wrong you are, yet it means nothing to you. Whatever dude, let it go and live in your fantasy world…
  18. Show me one place where I said the regular season has a major connotation. The regular season means jack crap!!! Ask any player, would they rather have a great regular season and do nothing in the playoffs or vice versa. I promise you it is all about the playoffs. Doesn’t matter the sport, you will get the same response. Nobody remembers who won a conference title, but they do remember a sectional title, every school, every time. Regional title, semi-state title, and state title the legend just grows with each step. I remember my high school career well, many years ago, but my memory is better when it comes to playoff time and with each title they I was a part of.
  19. Look, FootballKing cares in no way what anyone says to refute what he is saying. In his mind, nothing that is said means anything to him that is against his opinion. Period. Doesn’t mean he is right or that I or anyone else agrees with him, he just wants to be right. Fine, live your dream. I will live in reality, which is 100% different than what you are saying. Your scenario will not happen anytime soon. The sport is about the kids who play the game, not you, not me, hell, not even the fans. Guess what? Thousands upon thousands of fans will go to the games and support their teams and the product that is offered.
  20. The real key to the game is Penn’s offense vs Carroll’s defense. For Penn to win this game, I think they will have to score at least 24 points.
  21. Uh right, using your theory where bad teams shouldn’t even have the chance to make the postseason you have yet again been proven wrong. That is your whole argument. Neither Villanova or NC State would have qualified for the Big Dance without winning a conference tournament they everyone automatically qualified for regardless of their record. Make another bogus argument… Stop using logic, the almighty FootballKing does not understand it
  22. The NCAA men’s basketball tournament let’s everyone in postseason play and is widely regarded as the best tournament in all of sports,March Madness!!! There have been countless upsets every year by teams that have stunk it up during the regular season only to make great runs in their conference tournament and even win a national title. Villanova and North Carolina State easily come to mind to start and every year there are other teams that make this tournament great. And yes, had not Villanova and NC State not won their conference tourney they would NOT made the field… Carry on
  23. It will be a very good matchup.
