Why do these school board members think it is acceptable to spend this amount of money on an unneeded extravagance like a football stadium? I would be ok with this if it was funded by private donations, but they are spending money confiscated from their hard working fellow citizens! When does the fiscal malfeasance from local school boards come to an end? Will it take mass protests?

Not just an EVSC problem either. I've heard of multiple jobs in the last couple of years that received little to no interest. Tiny applicant pools and no one willing to take the job when offered. Not to take away from the EVSC being a sh#t show, because it is, and I've heard firsthand stories about the foolishness that must be tolerated by coaches there.

Princeton get their guy?

I hate to see this topic go off the rails. Let's refocus on the original intent of this thread: now that drones rule the Friday night lights, what will inevitably replace them?

I wonder if people ever use a "message board personality" as a character of sorts, to work through the trials and tribulations of daily life? Maybe their message board personality is cranky so that they are not hard to deal with in real life. I could imagine a scenario where a person might post on a message board to make jokes or tell goofy stories that are only meant for self-amusement. Stuff that if they did it in their daily life would make people think that they might have a screw loose. Interesting to think about

Tell her I said thank you for taking the time to help me out. I feel slightly less anxious about the future of filming football games now. While I've got you here, how would you like to get in on the ground floor of an emerging new technology that would allow high schools to use satellites to film their football games? For a small investment, you can become a part of the future....a very lucrative future at that.

Ok, well can you just ask her if she thinks I'm abandoning ship too early by switching from endzone cameras to drones? Does she think there's any reason to cling to my listing endzone camera? Does she have any idea what will come along next and replace drones as the premier method of filming the childrens' game of high school football? I'd like to get ahead of the curve on this. Please?

It's all about drones in this day and age my friend. I'm afraid endzone cameras are going the way of the terror skink. While I clung loyally to my HI-POD X31, football technology moved steadily down the tracks like a midnight train. To quote a GID legend, "the game has passed me by". Hopefully Muda's wife can guide me through this challenging time.

Muda can I get your wife's phone number? I need some advice on a few situations.

Warren Central Open.. Kirschner resigns

I looked on John Harrell's website and I couldn't find Damon Bailey as a coach at Bedford. There is no coach listed from 1996-2001, between Randy Johnson and Jeff Callahan. Is this when Bailey coached the Stars? -

Endzone Cameras vs. Drones
Lucy Draper replied to Lucy Draper's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Coach, what is your opinion on this burgeoning issue and how it affects Indiana high school football? -
I was hoping to do an informal poll on the preferred method of gathering game/practice film in the current era of high school football. Is a trend developing with schools moving away from tried and true endzone cameras, such as the HI-POD X31, in favor of unreliable drones? Are today's coaches willing to risk safety and lesser quality for the flash and glamor of drones? I don't think it's a coincidence that longtime Indiana coaching legends like Bud Wright, Ott Hurley, Rick Streiff, Dick Dullaghan, Don Howell, Jerry Brewer, Chris Geesman, Bill Sharpe, etc are leaving the game in droves as "drone filming" is being pushed by more school administrations.

Who is on the Tournament Success Factor bubble?
Lucy Draper replied to rob's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I'm not a very smart person, so take my opinions accordingly. That said, I think the vast majority of medium/small public schools don't work hard enough to overcome the advantages that belong to private schools. They believe they are working hard enough, but they don't know what they don't know. That's just my dumbass opinion though. -
Who is on the Tournament Success Factor bubble?

SCHOOLS SHOULD NOT BE PENALIZED FOR RUNNING SUCCESSFUL ATHLETIC PROGRAMS! THE SUCCESS FACTOR SUCKS! TYPICAL BUREAUCRATIC POLICY! FLATUS HOAGIES FOR THE IHSAA WHEN IT COMES TO SUCCESS FACTOR!! -
As it should be. Data from multiple studies prove that the use of endzone cameras, such as the HI-POD X31, provides a safer and more efficient game film experience for all parties involved. Credit belongs to the Endzone Camera Lobby, who spent the necessary time and money to help the IHSAA come up with this policy.

1A Tournament Discussion
Lucy Draper replied to Jays's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Clarksville Providence is a Catholic school. Does anyone know if they use an endzone camera, and if so, what make and model?
