Best hs player you've seen in person

In addition to many already mentioned, got to mention Bo Hundt from Bremen. -
We don't mind. Here, I'll add to it... we are soooo bad, hopefully we can keep it under 40pts. 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, it should be a real entertaining game. Our focus is just trying to stay healthy and keep getting better before the playoffs. Obviously a W would be nice.

HNAC Week #6
Offintheyard replied to from_the_sidelines007's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
There were feelers put out but the admin and some coaches at the time had no interest. It seems like the interest is renewed with alums and possibly the new administration. From what I am hearing, if the right opportunity presented itself, they would take a hard look at it. I am all for it and think that St Joe, Marian, Jimtown, Bremen, Glenn and CMA would be a great start. Time will tell. -

HNAC Week #6

The stat sheet I saw on Max Preps listed Knox with 0 passing TDs. I will admit I may have gotten it wrong. I went off of the stats I saw. Regardless if it is 7 or 5, It's still under 2 passing TDs/game and they still have 6 INTs. -

Obviously reading comprehension is not your strong suit. I will try to explain this to you one last time. The entire point I am trying to make is that it doesn't matter how many yards you give up if you are not giving up TDs. I wasn't comparing last years TDs to this years TDs. You took it upon yourself to do that in order to try and spin this. Also, while we are at it, the 2 "TD passes" you are crediting Knox for were actually PATs. You might want to look stuff up yourself. Again, I never said anything about PATs. I hope your team does well. I obviously know coaches on both teams and don't really care who wins. So go ahead and spin this however you want to make yourself look better, I'm done commenting on this. -

5 passing TDs allowed, 6 INTs. Doesn't matter how many yards they gave up if the other team can't score. Try to keep up. -

And? Culver may be giving up more yards but through 5 games last year they were giving up 40.4 ppg. This year they are giving up only 20.8. Doesn't matter how many yards they give up if the other team can't score. Should be an interesting game nonetheless. -
Having coached at schools that are in a conference, I am all for it. It creates some good rivalries and definitely helps with scheduling. It also gives the kids something to shoot for.

Some do, some don't. We are going through a change in AD's at the moment. Hopefully this will be a point of contention. We already play most of those schools in sports anyway.

Been on there for years. Never posted anything though. It's a good place to get a little bit of good basketball information if you can weed through all of the Jr. high name calling and I'm better than you are crap that is on there daily. -

Crispus Attucks at Pioneer, Panthers win in a rout Glenn at Knox, Redskins win in a decent game. Probably by 2 scores LaVille at Caston, Lancers in a rout Triton at Culver Cavaliers take care of business by 3 scores Winamac at North Judson Tossup. Jays by 3 -

Ditto. Not much to consider this week. NJ/Knox could be the most interesting game as they always play each other tough no matter their records or how they matchup on paper. -
HNAC Week #3

Caston @ Triton Nice to see that the numbers are up at Caston. However, Triton will win this with no problem. 42-7 Knox @ Culver Knox is good but haven't been overly impressive in their victories over 2 mediocre teams at best. Culver's defense has some major holes. I think Knox will roll into rivalry week 3-0. Redskins win 28-14 North Judson @ North Newton Flip a coin in this one. I'll go with the Spartans 28-27 Winamac @ North White Warriors finally get some points this week but I think NW will put up a few themselves. Warriors get the W 35-21 Pioneer @ LaVille Lot of chatter about this one. Perennial power vs the up and comer. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Yes Pioneer lost but they lost to a pretty good Cass team. LV is looking tough in their wins. I realize Pioneer is "king of the hill" and it sounds like some of the picks are based off of tradition. Last time I looked, tradition never played or won any games. The Lewellens are great athletes and will be tough to stop. LV has some athletes of their own. Both teams have great coaches. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if either team wins this. Pioneer has to lose in the HNAC at some point and I think Laville has the best shot this year. I'll go with the up and comer. LV wins 28-26 -
My guess is that CMA doesn't bring a large gate so they aren't really ever considered. Road attendance has improved in football and basketball but only because of recent success. Most years CMA doesn't exactly strike fear into their opponents. In fact, they would be evenly matched most years to Bremen, St. Joe, Marian, Glenn and the SB schools. There are already some nice rivalries with St Joe, Marion and most recently with Bremen. It would be nice to develop more with Jimtown, Glenn and others. It also seems that the powers that be are luke warm on the topic of joining a conference. Not sure why as this would help with scheduling. CMA travels quite far for some games and struggles to schedule others. Maybe with the new AD, things might change. The nice thing about your idea is that if these schools could form a conference, they wouldn't necessarily lose their competitive advantages come playoff time.

Would love to see that happen.

On paper, all of the games should be ho hum. If Culver hangs on to the ball, they win going away. Culver big over SC Knox has no problem with Rochester this year. Knox big over Rochester LV has to focus on the team in front of them. As long as that happens then LV wins. LaVille big over Triton The HNAC could see it's first 2 mercy rule games this week. Pioneer makes a statement after week 1. Pioneer mercy rules Winamac NJ just too much for Caston. Judson mercy rules Caston -
