The reason I say it is a loophole is the offense has time to call a play or like in this situation get there kicking team out there during the time it takes to get the call made and ball moved ready for play. I believe in the nfl if this would happen there is a 10 second runoff not sure about college. The plenty on CG was a coach on the sideline talking to the official or should say he probably was yelling, not sure what was said.

Sorry it late and of lack of sleep let me rephrase end of half team one has the ball on 3rd and fails to get a first down as time is running down the line to run, but instead of running a play they spike the ball on 4th down with should have been turnover on down. But a flag was throw for penalty on the offense. So instead of turn over on downs it lost of 5 yards and they keep the ball to run another play. One is that the right call and 2 if that is the right call that is a heck of a cheat code

This a question I been what to ask and if the call was right then I would tell my team to do it if needed cg vs wc end of the half. Wc is stoped sort or the of the line to gain on 3rd down time is run out they line and spike the ball to stop it but it 4th down turn offer on downs, but flag on play eligible pro on wc. The move the ball back 5 yards and wc get 4th down again is that right call and if so I would do that ever time I need to get one more play on a drive late in the half or game

It also reads that a they can write and request a waiver. I would think any high school coach that is working on building a program top to bottom would want this. As for the money 1200 per team is not a lot, most of this teams have at least 15 to 20 kids on them so you are looking at less they 100 at kids, as for travel to games half of them are home games so you just going to your school or where you play your rec league games at anyway.

Why don’t more schools play in this league? I would think if you were a high school coach you would to see your youth team play in this league. I don’t know but is there other local travel ball team leagues out there for school to play in?

Just wonder how some of these school have more sports then ishaa covers. Are they including club sports because if they are. I know cg has more then 21

I do see not how a lot would have to change. Ball goes into the end zone on a kick off they can run it out, if it is far cought in the side 20 ball it place at the 20 first down, and the last thing ball is live until it is recovered no mater where it ends up as long it is stays in bounds

After thinking about my self I think it would let them do both 1 and 2. on punts I think we need to do away with this. If a punt is mufed and ball goes into the end zone it is not a dead ball but still live and kick team can recover it.

Should they change the kickoff rule?I know I like the way it is but here is a few changes I thought about. 1. No automatic touch back it the balls goes into the end zone theycan bring it out 2 Fair catch inside the 20, if the receiving team called for a fair change and successful does just that they get the ball at the 20:just like a touch back 3 Go crazy and change it to the way the nfl does it, I know a lot of people do not like but, it has grown on me. We have the run clock for a few years now. Do you all think it need to be change any or stay the same or get do away with it all together. I am still not a big fan of it because it lessens the opportunity for some kids to get in the game. Now I no this is not a problem for most small and medium size school but for some one who kids played at a large school and where the players that where at the bottom of the depth chart it makes it hard some times to get them all in. things I would change 1 for the playoff I would not change a thing for the clock, at that point you are more worried in those games at keeping your kids heathy then some playing time also with limit dress rule you can still get most kids in the game that dress. I also feel at any time you reach that 35 point mark you start the running clock it does not have to wait till half. 2 regular season I would stop the clock after incomplete pass and then start it when the ball is marked for play second on penalties for the quick calls than do need a conference I would not make a change, if it one where it might take a min or 2 stop the clock then after the ball is ready for play you start the clock. 3 time outs coach’s can call only stop play if the 40 sec clock is about to run out or to make sure if your subbing players to get them in the game. Time out at this point should be only 20 seconds

What is the fastest TD you have seen in a game. Mine was a failed on side kick that was scored it like 6 sec or so.

I have never big fan of just a total number of kids in a school to determine each class. Take in point you have school A at 2500 kids School B at 2450, one ends up say 6A the other in 5A , but school B has 1250 boys where school A has 1175. If you are going to do total number of kids you should use total number of boys your boys sport and total number for girls. How I really think the way is should us the total number of kids that plays sports not over number. The Ihssa should have a number of,kids that file a sports physical. I feel they should us that number to determine where each school should fall in classes

Ok change 5 lol I would have a one time school transfer rule so a kids could transfer after his freshman year. With that being said if the kid wanted to transfer a second time would have to be done the way it is now. The state of Indiana is an open enrollment state so you enroll any where you want for the most part.

The way I would do the ranking is take Sagarin, the media poll the coaches poll and then at Random have 6 to 8 ADS of the class in the north or south ranking them. Drop the the highest and lowest from the AD list, average that list. Once you have the average of the AD poll you average the those four together to get the final number for seeding

Here are a list of things in my opinion that could be changed to improve the tournament. 1 do away with the cap for the number of kids that can dress. If a coach want to limit the number kids do to locker room size that is fine, 2 i for one like the random draw, but I also feel teams should be seeded to determine who is the home team. I hate the way they do it now. No team with a better record should be playing games on the road. This way the people saying the regular season need to mean more this would help in doing that. 3 do away with whole idea of neutral site. Let the home teams treat it like a home game. That is one of things that make high school football great. 4 move the regular season to left a week 5 and 6A can add a game and that last week all other class are on a bye week i
