Based on the post from the other thread, sounds like there was a Cathedral player who played multiple non-special team plays in the varsity game (it was stated 6 out of 53 plays) and played in the JV game the following morning.
And it just so happened to be a kid that transferred from New Pal to Center Grove that started that topic. Week 9 and we are worried about a player playing too many quarters in a JV game 😂

Not sure how I let this momentous occasion get by me.......congrats HHC fans on reaching the 100 page milestone. 😄
I kid
Now back to your regularly scheduled conversations
Haha I agree, I like to look back at prior pages from Prior years to see how far we have came. Hopefully we can hit another 100 pages in the future.

Honestly, there's no need for Sagarin once the playoffs begin. On the field is the rating system now.
It’s only showing that Sagarin is correct on what teams it had towards the top. Nobody is saying it wins games.

Unreal playmaking and “onions” by both sides in the 4th quarter. HSE sets the table by converting multiple 4th down attempts on their final drive to finally get in the end zone with less than a minute left to make it a 21-20 ballgame. Credit to Coach Kelly for dialing up a 2 pt conversion instead of settling for OT. It looked like HSE went back to the same pass play that picked up yardage on the previous 4th down attempt. Westfield snuffed it out, HSE’s QB scrambled and found an open man in the EZ to make it 22-21 HSE with about 40 seconds left. I can’t say I’m surprised that Maximus Webster and Micah Hauser drove Westfield downfield and into a manageable FG attempt. Kudos to Westfield kicker Caleb King for splitting the uprights on the 25 yard game winner.
it feels like Webster and Hauser have been at Westfield for 5 years. Those 2 are going to leave major voids to fill in the Westfield offense next year.
The kickers at Westfield the last 5-7 years have been phenomenal it seems.. Will Harrison single handily beat Columbus East at the 5A state title a few years ago. Westfield and East that year both had unbelievable defenses, Harrison was the difference.. Good Luck to the Rocks the rest of the year.

Just another opponent in the way of moving on. No other motive needed.
You can look at it that way, but I’ve seen comments on here from Irish fans, and I guarantee you Cathedral was hoping to play New Pal this week..

Greatest Team In Cathedral History 100
New Pal 2
This New Pal team is as good as the 2019 New Pal team… that’s how this works right?

South wins this game and becomes regional champs, New Albany has had a great year. Either way, the winner of this game will be put into Cathedral’s grinder and shredded the following week. I like the Panthers in this matchup tho.

Will the game be played at Arlington?

Bloomington south at new Albany for regional,
Same result as earlier, just maybe not as bad lol.

I’d say Cathedral has wanted this match up for a few years. Should be a fun one for the Irish.

The best team in the HHC rose to the top this year. They found a way to always win games. Congrats to Seymour on a great year and congrats to New Albany on an HHC, and Sectional Championship.
-
Seymour playing their tail off tonight! 1 more half for the Owls and they can call themselves Sectional Champs.

Never been a white wine/caviar type of guy. I'm more of a burger/brats individual who sprinkles in the occasional pre game keg stand.

I am getting word the sectional final game will be in New Albany now, per some IHSAA decision. Not sure why it’s so hard to figure out. Is anyone able to verify?
From watching the New Albany vs Floyd game last week, they said it would be in New Albany at the end of that game. I thought it was in New Albany to begin with .

you know what they say...takes one to know one......
Look at that 2020 schedule...compare it to the 2021 schedule....I don't believe its that open and shut when it comes to 20 vs 21. And I've seen them both play....as well as a lot of Cathedral games over the past 8 years or so. 2021 is really good....I just struggle putting them above some others. Don't mean to anger some Dads.
That’s fine I’m a F’n idiot, so I guess I do know them when I see them… thanks player.

TrojanMP52 was a New Pal Student that transferred to CG. He would have transferred the first year Spegal was at New Pal.
