Any update on where they'll play the RP/Covenant game?

I just wanna know who was able to take drone footage of an IHSAA tourney game.

Sect 47 Lutheran 42 South Putnam 0 Final

Covenant would be the home team in an RP/Covenant round two matchup.

I'm with you, I think Providence will win sectional 48. I don't think there have been enough crossover games for the Sagarin rating to be accurate in this sectional.

Traders Point 0 Lutheran 49 Halftime

Based on the current Sagarin ratings, ND would be two TD favorites over Tri. The game will likely be much closer than that, but I think the ND defense gives them the edge.

I think North Decatur could win the 1A north. The question is, can they win 1A south?

Worst in 1A is clearly North Decatur/Tri in the first round. With all due respect to Sheridan, the winner of this game will likely play in the south semistate. Should have been the sectional 46 championship game.

I shoulda bought a lottery ticket right after posting this. Lutheran/South Putnam in 1st round is almost as bad as North Decautur/Tri in the 1st round.

Lutheran 47 Speedway 16 Final

Can confirm. I like their picks for sect 46 & 48, but I take exception with their ranking of the top two teams from 48 (Providence/Tecumseh) over the top two from 46 (North Decatur/Tri). If 46 met 48 in the regional, 46 would be moving on to semistate.

Monrovia 6 Lutheran 52 Final

I don't think anyone will challenge Sheridan in sectional 45. But after watching them recently, I still don't think they'll be able to hang with North Decatur in the regional. If Tri were to upset North Decatur in sectional 46, I think they'd also beat Sheridan.

2014 North Vermillion (who beat Lutheran by 18 in SS) would beat 2021 Parke Heritage (who lost to Lutheran by 36 in Reg) with a running clock the entire 2nd half. The NV line would have dominated the game on both sides of the ball.

There will be some good games along the way in the south side of the bracket: Sect 46 - North Decatur will face Tri at some point. Interested to see that ND defense face the Tri run game. Sect 47 - Covenant/South Putnam/Lutheran should provide two good games. Personally hoping the ping pong balls put South Putnam/Covenant on the other side of the bracket. Sect 48 - Tecumseh/Providence should be a good game. I know so little about this sectional that I was unaware there were any Catholics left in 1A. I thought that was the point of the success factor. South Semistate - Sagarin would have Lutheran facing North Decatur in a battle of two great defenses. Should be a lot of fun to watch!

Triton Central and Speedway will still have something to say about the ICC title before it's official, but the winner of this game certainly takes control. Last year's game might have been the hardest hitting game of the year, regardless of class. Expecting Friday to be a slobberknocker as well.
