I'd like to vote in 1A/2A. Thanks for bringing this back!

Hard to believe that not approving Tri-West for inclusion led to the split. The no votes for Tri-West came from public schools (TC/BG). This is simply the public schools wishing to join/create a public school conference. Their replacements in the ICC will likely be p/p schools, so we'll now have a small-school p/p conference in the Indy area to join the Circle City conference.

Word is this might be happening a year sooner than planned, with the remaining ICC schools adding replacements for 2025-2026. Can anyone comfirm?

I'm confused. Is it November already? I thought it was May with practices still a month away. But this sounds like November belly-aching. I guess there really is no offseason anymore.

If Speedway refuses to travel to Lutheran for JV games, what are the odds they'd entertain trips to Linton?

That'll be tough to do, now that they're in 3A.

I'd like to know what Busco has coming back. They took a shot at ending Luers run early last year. If they weren't hit too hard by graduation, they'd have to be considered a contender in the North.

This is a shame. The ICC is without question one of the best small school conferences in the state. I guess this means there will now be four schools available to fill out the small school division of the Circle City conference?

I get it. It makes the most sense. You could almost call it the ICC tourney, with 5 of the 8 conference teams included.

2A Sectional 37 Apparently they couldn't find a way to squeeze LCC into this one in place of Monrovia!

Glad this family was able to make this personal decision to benefit their son. That's the way it should be. Now I'm going to shuffle off to a 2A thread to avoid that whiny Sheridan announcer complain that benefits like this should keep parochial schools out of 1A.

South Putnam is going to be very hard to beat in the south this year. Of the two south teams that came within one score of Lutheran, the Eagles have the most coming back. Starting QB returns, along with one of the best deep threats in 1A as a sophomore. Look for South Putnam to put up a lot of points. Providence was better last year, but graduated quite a few key contributors.

Map of possible 2A sectionals, if the preliminary list from above holds. Provides more of a northwest/southeast semi-state than a true north/south semi-state. The proposed sectional in Indianapolis would consist of: Park Tudor, Covenant Christian, Heritage Christian, Cardinal Ritter, Scecina Memorial, Lutheran and Chistel House Manual. I assume gerrymandering in LCC and Andrean in exchange for Manual will be considered.

Central Michigan has offered three players from the 3-time state champion Lutheran Saints: Taurean Langston, 2024 OL (6'6" - 300) Jackson Willis, 2025 QB (6'2" - 195) Cameron McHaney, 2026 DL (6'3" - 275)

We'll pencil them in as the 2028 1A North representative. Blackhawk Christian should be bumped to 2A by that point.
