  1. All that dancing for nothing…lol
  2. Looks like that problem just got bigger https://thespun.com/nfl/afc-north/cleveland-browns/hue-jackson-claims-browns-paid-him-money-to-lose-games
  3. I get that, but from the lens looking the other way; people could look at the record of teams I was a part of and say I had very little success. But for me, I look at many of the young men I have coached and see the things they are doing; working hard, being great husbands and becoming great fathers and leaders, and see some getting into coaching and teaching as well, and I know.....as John Mellencamp says "an honest man's pillow is his peace of mind". I would say the coaches I have been blessed to work with, regardless of win loss records, we have been successful.
  4. Is there a source other than Schefter? lol
  5. If the only definition of a successful program is the amount of hardware collected, the game in our State is in FAR worse shape than I thought it was.
  6. Commanders? https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33199548/washington-selects-commanders-new-team-name-two-season-search
  7. A lot of people seem to be laughing this off, but to me it seems he has some solid evidence. It’s obvious that owners do not take the Rooney rule seriously, but it’s also obvious the people in charge of the league do not take it seriously either.
  8. add to it the other wrench thrown in this that still has a ripple effect; players were granted an extra year of eligibility from 2020; the year that did not count against anyone's eligibility. There was no timeline for players to decide to take that extra year and stay; so it really backed up the whole recruiting process.
  9. I would say he is doing ok....the one on the far right https://nypost.com/2021/10/01/olivia-holzmacher-takes-in-bengals-win-with-fellow-wags/
  10. OK....this is really funny
  11. Now it is official....his full statement is in the replies to this tweet.
  12. I will stand by my claim....Singletary is one of the best ever to play the position, and was definitely not overrated.
  13. Butkus was a great ILB; mean nasty, hit hard, but it was not my impression he knew the whole defense. He just knew he had A gap to A gap, and destroyed anything coming through. Plus, he was a good sized guy where 50 was under sized.
  14. This is just crazy talk....well of course the OLB's were better athletes.....that is called good coaching. Put the better athletes outside. But to say he was underrated is just silly. I will say, he was better than Butkus. Spend some time learning about Singletary. He understood the entire defense. He was a coach on the field. He was the heart of that defense. He was tough taking on blocks, including double teams. While he was undersized, he was powerful and hit as hard as anyone on that defense. I would add the most overrated......Urlacher.
  15. It seemed Harbaugh was off the market; but his name has resurfaced. Trying to find the story where Miami was still interested in him as well
  16. Tough loss for IU, but good pick up for the Irish. His son even decommitted from osu to go to IU. I hope he stays in Bloomington
  17. The Browns? Ozzie Newsome might be the youngest guy in their group.
  18. Don’t think Brady showed up looking this hip in his 2nd season with his own initials and number on the necklace.
  19. So you are saying he did catch flack from the right?
  20. The timing of the SAC splitting into two divisions helped make that happen. I like seeing it.
  21. Seymour (5A) currently has coaching positions open on both sides of the ball (RB, TE, OLB/ILB, DB, K/P). We also have a full time study hall monitor position available. The position is hourly, pays $15.50 per hour, 7.5 hour workday and comes with benefits. Interested candidates should contact Head Coach Tyson Moore (mooret@scsc.k12.in.us).
  22. OK, but Reagan caught no flack back then when he said it, and when the nomination came up.
  23. Honest question......was this one sexist? https://www.archives.gov/legislative/features/oconnor.html The problem with the accusation is it implies that the nominee will somehow be less qualified for the position. The fact is there are a LOT of people that are highly qualified. In that group, there are a LOT of minority females who are highly qualified. This really should not even been an issue honestly.
