He and his attorney refused to send the results of his appointment in New York to team doctors, and he also refused to see team doctors or even NFL doctors.

I know that is what he says…but he has been a Bears beat writer for a LONG time now.

I saw that......Rodgers called the guy a bum.....and he is right. If Arkush is admitting that play on the field is not a factor in his vote, then he should lose his privilege of voting. That said, Johnathon Taylor is the MVP in my mind.

Hoping he gets some help; he has had issues for some time now. Arians did comment post game that he is no longer a part of the team.

It was an antique Colt .45. Apparently a person on the set handed him the gun and used the term cold gun, meaning it was safe. It was the only live round in the gun. Not sure if that means the other rounds were blanks and in the gun, or if it only had the one round in it.

I agree....my only question is how the hell did a live round find its way into a movie prop gun? Seems like that is something that should have never been a thing. I am thinking too, ok, they get to filming the actual scene; according to the script, I am guessing he is supposed to aim and fire the weapon. So someone was likely going to be shot that day.

BS…..shut out in the 3rd quarter and just 7 points in the 4th. The offense was non existent for more than half the game.

Coan may have had those TD passes, the one to Mayer was thrown behind him. It took a great play by Mayer to catch the ball. There were a couple throws that were deep with no one close. The pick he threw in the 4th quarter is inexcusable. On a few incompletions, especially on out routes or digs, he threw late instead of leading them. I said it early in the season, he cannot throw a guy open. OK State had a solid front against the run, but Coan is not a zone read QB. He made several bad reads. There was one in particular on a 3rd and 2, outside guy crashes down the line hard, but he gives any way. That is a keep read all day.

That was a frustrating game to watch. Along the lines of what Bobref asked, why did they stick with Coan for so long? While he had a few decent throws, he is not a zone read type qb, and so many throws were just off or really bad. Defense missed too many tackles, and Oklahoma State moved too easily too often.

I am too young to remember, but he played great in the ice bowl at Lambeau. That was 54 years ago yesterday.

No question about that….and to drive that home, the RB for Alabama knew going in he was the 3rd best back when he got there, and chose to wait his turn.

Change of pace kind of shows Ted Lasso is much better than I thought it would be. Coach Beard is a great character. He and Roy Kent steal the show. This is Us is good too, but likely went a season too long; script writing is a bit weak at times, with the regurgitation of childhood issues, but still give it a B.
