I did see that Cignetti was quoted as saying this transfer portal recruiting has been a distraction for preparing for the game against Oregon. But Lanning said the same thing.

Crazy play from today. I do not see a foul in the first place. It’s not even close. There is way too much space between the shooter and defender. I think they win easily too. Without the pick 6 at Oregon, the offense for Oregon did not do much. I will guess Oregon score twice in this one.

Looks like what @PDB26 said. LSU is paying the bonuses. My guess is it was part of his negotiations with LSU when they said leave now and come here.

I would be curious if Ole Miss has any legal standing knowing that he negotiated for his new job during the season while still under that contract. I would even say he got out of that contract, so he is not entitled to anything from the point he left onward.

If you follow any Chicago sports teams, you may be familiar with this guy, or his store. He is originally from Brownsburg. He was at BHS about the time that Tucker Barnhart was, or even when Lance Lynn was. He does a great job coming up with simple phrases to put on a shirt.

Every step along the way the last two years, there were questions about the IU program. I know it was a 3 loss Alabama team, but are there really any questions left? Or is the belief now that this team can win a championship? Or, what is the next “can they…?” question?

Was messaging my brothers….I don’t get the fascination with that play. Even IU ran it early and almost paid for it. Even in the NFL, it’s one of my biggest criticisms of LaFleur. Defenses are built for speed, and plays like that play right into the hands of the defense. Even the 4th and short early, Alabama ran wide instead of straight ahead. It has happened in so many games this year.
