  1. In theory, you are correct. Here is a problem that has been around for years, but seems to be FAR more frequent over the last decade and change. https://www.newsweek.com/sears-bankruptcy-stock-kmart-closing-filing-stores-pensions-judge-1262217 I have brought this up before as well. WalMart has recorded record profits over the last several years. Executives are getting huge bonuses, and more than half of their store employees had their hours cut to 30 hours a week. There are plenty of examples of similar actions across the country.m I have long said that I do not believe in forced minimum wages. The theory that it will end up costing us more is correct, but it will ultimately hurt the employees most; all the while increasing the amount of profit the companies haul in, and increasing the insane bonuses executives are getting. What is equally as sad, on the surface, is that courts are approving these types of bonuses as companies go through bankruptcy. Any of our legal experts care to chime in why it is allowed?
  2. I have seen the high pooch kick executed 3 times (K caught it on the fly) in my career and called correctly 2 of the 3 times. Years ago, we used to practice it once a day. We get to the last game of the season and decide to try it. Of course, the flag was thrown. I was coaching a JV game a few years ago and our opponent tried it, and possession was given to them. I tried explaining it to the officials that it was kick catch interference, but to no avail. We saw it on film this year late in the season and it was called correctly. I was not aware of the popup kick rule though. Thanks for posting this.
  3. Oh look everyone....the MASTER of jumping to conclusions fails to actually check facts....go figure. lol
  4. I think he is there to divide that group. It is obvious that he is occupying space in Beta's head.
  5. That game was a LOT closer than it should have been. Soooooo many missed opportunities on both sides of the ball. Missed sacks, missed picks, especially ones to ice the game. And then, points on the board, like at the end of the 1st half. I guess a bit of karma there though, with McCoy making a play to keep them out of the end zone. A win is a win, and the Saints lose today as well. Focus is on the conference race as I think the division is a lock at this point.

  7. This probably belongs in the memes topic, but it could fit here. Coach Orgeron is doing a great job. I have been a fan of his for a long time. But this is too funny to not share here.
  8. It won’t hurt them going forward. If they have to forfeit, that will hurt. Kinda adds something to make you go hmmmmmmm, with PSU at 4, right? just another blemish that gets exposed from the Meyer era though.
  9. Such a stupid comment. The law STILL requires 180 days for students genius.
  10. Soooo, violating a person’s civil rights, deliberately is now defined by you as civil disobedience? But teachers taking a personal day to o to the Statehouse should not be allowed? Yeah ...I got it. I guess people who burn crosses and carry confederate flags fall into your definition of civil disobedience as well then huh?
  11. except one of us is intelligent enough to do some actual research, and avoid spouting off on a topic he knows nothing about. And yes, it does not change that you have openly supported that breaking laws and violating civil rights is ok to fit an agenda.
  12. I will respond this one time, because engaging in discussion with you is fruitless. In past posts, you have found it acceptable that the legal rights of citizens in this country be violated for the purpose of furthering an agenda you support. The ACLU report I linked highlights some specific civil rights violations going on in many AZ charter schools. When I posted and added by any means necessary; you approved of that. it is a dangerous mindset to say it is ok for laws to be broken to achieve an end. You often rail on law enforcement and the tactics they employ to achieve an end; and I will add, rightfully so. We also both agree that the seizing of private property to build a wall is unacceptable, but the wall is the goal, so why should laws matter, right? Again.....just because it is a cause you support, does not make it ok in this nation, to willfully violate the laws in place to achieve an end. That is what is dangerous. So go ahead and keep posting your nonsense....and I will keep on laughing at your posts.....hypocrite.
  13. By ANY means necessary I guess. You would think a civil libertarian would not be so supportive after reading this. Published in 2017. https://www.acluaz.org/sites/default/files/field_documents/schools_choosing_students_web.pdf
  14. Yep, too much confidence can be a dangerous thing lol Strikes are illegal in Indiana, but at some point, the law is one that really is not enforceable, depending on numbers.
  15. For the one who claims to ‘now SOOOOOOOO much about education, with sooooo few facts.
  16. Soooo thankful for e learning days. I too think it is shaping up to be a nasty Winter.
  17. Today at Lambeau Field 😳 and the team practiced outside. https://twitter.com/lambeaufield/status/1192082854592831490?s=21
  18. I too think there are a couple of head scratchers. Penn State is the most vulnerable of the top 4 in my opinion. I see Clemson moving into that spot soon. Penn State needs to beat Ohio State to have any chance of hanging around. I am interested to see how it plays out. I don’t feel like Penn State has blown anyone out, including some below average teams. Clemson’s schedule could bite them as well. If I heard this right, they are guaranteed to play a team in the ACC Championship that has 3 losses. I agree too that it is likely that both Bama and LSU end up in the playoff, unless it is a blowout. The only thing that bothers me though is that it is likely, one team will have to beat the other twice to win a title, while the other team only has to win one time. As far as Oklahoma goes, I said it in another topic. They are in the exact same spot that Ohio State was last year. While the loss was on the road, and while it was a one score game, KState STILL put up 48 points. You are out of the conversation when that happens. I will add that there are some possible great matchups to keep me interested on New Year’s Day....depending on the size of the headache of course. 😇
  19. Gipper, as long as you wear a Packers hat or something, you will be fine there. 🤣
