  1. You week 2 summary. πŸ˜†
  2. This is the bulletin with the latest changes in the success factor when it was disconnected from the regular reclassification cycle. Based on this, everything is still based on a 2 year span. So NP would not move up after 1 year in 5A if they win State. https://www.ihsaa.org/sites/default/files/documents/Tournament Success Factor.pdf This article confirms it is still based on two years performance in the same class. https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/high-school/2024/12/02/ihsaa-football-how-tournament-success-factor-will-impact-2025-season-indiana-high-school/76707705007/
  3. Yes, like I said, it’s 2 years and does not follow the reclassification cycle. New Pal competed in 4A last year and the year before. This is their first year back in 5A due to the success factor. So it will be based on what they do this year and next year. They will not move back to 4A if they come up short of the success points this season.
  4. Based on what you posted, I would say 1. Yes 2. Correct 3. Not exactly sure what you are asking, but even on a PAT, the run rule still applies. 4. Yes they can now run.
  5. With he bump up or move down no longer following the 2 year reclassification cycle, it will depend on what they do this year and next. It's any 2 year period now. Dwenger was moved down to 4A from 5A in the middle of the 22-23 cycle. New Pal was moved up to 5A this year after winning the 4A title last year and winning a regional the year before. So they have to repeat that this season and next.
  6. This is a much better angle of the play. I did not see this actual push down during the replay on CBS. They did not show this angle of it. It is funny seeing the comments that it was not a penalty, or that the Colts did the exact same thing on a Denver missed FG. This angle shows it is way too obvious to not call.
  7. Tough break for the Bengals
  8. This needs to become a point of emphasis when the Eagles play. This is ridiculous how much they move before the ball does.
  9. Yep, but it definitely was a penalty. I think the school of thought with this and a number of other plays like holding and DPI, players push the envelope and know the odds are in their favor. If it gets called at all, it MIGHT be once a game, and they think that is worth the risk. The DPIs that should have been called in the first half against the Broncos are good examples.
  10. Patience and time has run out in Westwood and Blacksburg. Interesting aspect of the transfer portal kicks in now as well.
  11. Nice, hard fought win. A little justice to finish the game was nice.
  12. Two weeks to practice and prepare and this is the shit show you come up with Irish? I cannot remember a game that started so well and went to shit so quickly. Just a horrible game plan, especially on defense.
  13. My other thought was that...and that maybe they just marked it off half the distance??
  14. Dominating first half, but LaFleur has a couple of bad habits. He gets too pass happy. And he gets too greedy. In his time there, they have never been very good at the deep passing game. For whatever reason he loves to call for the deep ball on 3rd and medium or less. Those two habits allowed Washington to pull within 7 in the 4th quarter. Even McCarthy would call a game that allowed teams to get in the game and make it much closer than it should have been.
  15. He was not much of a factor. I saw him in person last time he was at Lambeau in 2021. He was a big factor in that game. Had a really nice TD catch in front of us.
  16. Looks like a flag was thrown for something on the CG sideline. My only guess is a player did not get off the field? Because the ball is moved back to the original spot. Here is the flag near the CG sideline.
  17. I agree with the statement that this is all speculation. Before things go too far into unwarranted attacks on individuals, let's see how it plays out. Won't close it yet, and hopefully there is not a point that becomes necessary. Edit: To clarify, closing would only be a temporary thing while it does play out in court, or wherever a decision/resolution is made.
  18. Nice combo of the Colts playing well and the Dolphins looking bad. Maybe it was karma with the head coach wearing knickers ready to jump on a boat and roll a few fat ones. πŸ˜† I like McDaniels. He is entertaining. But this is his 4th season. This is about the time coaches develop a reputation. He might just be a step behind Matt LaFleur in the not meeting expectations department. But solid game all around for the Colts.
  19. I was thinking there was a game in NE Indiana on week 1 where a flag was thrown for it? I know the guy on the stream mentioned there was a drone over the field and within a couple seconds a flag came out.
  20. Week 1 recap πŸ˜†
  21. If you clear your browser history, it resets the count of articles you can see. πŸ™‚
  22. I don't know for sure, but I do see some old coach giving a long tenured ref a lot of πŸ’© over calling it a blindside block....which I agree it was; could even call helmet to helmet. But no chance that kid on R saw that guy coming.
  23. They are on ESPN 2 tonight. Regardless of feelings about it, it's a really impressive stadium. It's funny that they are playing Milton HS who is supposed to be another nationally ranked team as is Buford HS, but Buford is dominating the game. It's 20-7 in the 4th, and it ain't even that close. Edit: And after I post that, Milford brings in a freshman QB who drops a dime for a TD. the guy he is replaced is a heavily recruited QB too, and struggled most of the night, including with keeping his helmet on, and his throws ending up in the hands of guys wearing green jerseys.
  24. 😳
  25. Kevin Hart HS Basketball highlight...and it's everything you would expect his highlight to be. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/172M13zfp1/
