No eyes on the game, listening to Luers broadcast on radio.

Sounds like. A WHOLE LOT OF JET AND BUCK SWEEP.

Pre game show Matt LInday, former coach was talking about how they were going to be running a 6-2.  WHICH is not GOOD idea against Pioneer in my opinion., they can seal the edge so quickly and Lewellan kids are GONE once that happens.

Talented teams that run a 3-4 can give Pioneer fits in my opinion. LCC did for years.

And if they don’t have the talent to play have them as managers or student coaches. Nothing wrong with that. You don’t see kids with 2.2 gpa on the science Olympiad. Kids that can’t sing in choir. And the list goes on.

Grades actually don't have anything to do with being on an academic team. I was an average, B- student and I was on academic teams.

At Pioneer, there were several kids who were in choir who couldn't sing a lick, but took the class as an easy A.

Look at the big picture and everyone involved. Having seniors on Jv takes reps away from younger kids. This younger kids might get discouraged and quit. Think big picture and the life of the program, remember no one is bigger than the team.

Kids lives are the big picture. Football is ultimately just a game. Developing quality human beings is the ultimate goal, not winning or losing. They're not professionals.

So bring critical of your school is frowned upon here?

i replied whiting should of never started season after being taken to woodshed by griffith, and two members replied with “disdain”

if we aren’t being critical how are we preparing players and coaches for real life?

going further of a team isn’t successful is it the players or coaches fault?

from afar I watched whiting and I couldn’t believe the lack of numbers and size of the players, I feel bad for the coaches. Or is it there fault for not getting enough players out and developing them?

No matter what I want whiting to win but I will be critical of them as well.

If you're going to be critical of your own school, prepare for some backlash.

At the end of the day, this game is about the students and giving them the chance to grow and learn through this great game that we call football. Win, lose, draw, or even in a blowout, there are lessons to be learned. Taking that chance away from the students, at the end of the day, is selfish. At the end of the day, it's just a game. It can be hard to say that to a bunch of diehards, but it's the simple truth.

I even think that you could have local businesses use the stream for commercials.  The added income from advertising could help offset the cost and maybe make the stream be cheaper or free.

RTC, the webcasting company that airs Pioneer games and other area schools, would always air commercials for local businesses during the webcast. I feel as if the $10 price tag is a knee jerk reaction that could be offset, at least by a few dollars, if schools did donation drives, advertisement runs, benefits, and etc to make up for lost fan revenue. If we are still facing this issue next season, I can see many schools becoming much more creative. Hopefully this PPV isn't something that sticks around permanently.
